Don't consider it whining or crying, that's just what they call that thread which is SILLY, their just trying to make it seems like were a bunch of crying children when in actually should OF been a "show your concerns" or "pro & cons" thread of the game to let them now how we feel how what they can improve on etc.
So I don't believe anything there saying they have no credibility with me, seriously GT Planet has been out for years & to say they are really just now starting to review it whats that say about them to me NOTHING! If they would of looked in here years ago I bet we'd have some serious bad to the bone kick butt SIMULATION GAME.
As far as I'm concerned we don't need GT 7 to come out, we need GT 6 to be out for 5 years like GT5 was SOOOO FIX IT!
They been in the game for 15 years, if it comes out for PS4 so be it let us pay the upgrade charge of $10 like the other games do, what do they want come to out with a GT 7 so quickly for, any Guesses ? I'll tell you why so they can charge us all OVER again for a new disc, DLC content etc. And throw GT 6 away? Watch & observer boys, save your MONEY here comes the Cash Cow Deluxe PD TEAM.

If you worked in IT ... and you knew how change management works ... in legacy systems ... you wouldn't be surprised by the amount of time it takes to get a change implemented....

we work here on a 10 year old system and to get a change implemented ... it takes 9 months!

On top of that, you aren't a subsidiary of a megacoproration, I assume, and aren't being tasked to develop a whole new system for next gen hardware at the same time.

Unfortunately, we're in the dark about everything other than the team is still in part working on GT6. How much "in part," we don't know.

You guys should have my troubles in Battlefield 4 PC. Because EA has bestowed upon us poor rabble their awesomely complex Origin front end necessary to play their games, it won't do squat without it. Well, mine crashed. Uninstalled everything, reinstalled, still crashes. Tried to install BF4 on my internet and still fairly beefy net PC, but it says my game has already been installed, so I can't do that either. So NO BF4 untill I do something drastic like reinstall Windoze on my gaming rig. GT5 might crash after three races, thanks to all the patches, but at least it still runs. GT6 may have a lot of missing features, but what is there is great.

This is one reason, just one, why I can hardly care less for PC gaming. And why I'm NEVER, ever, buying another EA game again.

This is PD you're talking about. If you haven't figured it out yet nothing is coming anytime soon. PD has completely failed to uphold their own standards and deadlines, completely destroying any trust or faith left in their fanbase. PD has become a smear on the face of Sony. Where's all the features they are still advertising to drive game sales? Where are the promised monthly track DLC? Where are the bug fixes and patches that are NEEDED?! It's just shy of FOUR MONTHS since GT6 hit shelves. This is piss poor pathetic business and game development.

Like I listen to myself six months ago when I was @loser10,finally I got my physics improvement which I was waiting 4 years,and you will get your updates.
I don't say that it will be soon but you will get things that you and other guys want.

You call it whining we call it the TRUTH!! you ever purchase something & felt like you got robbed, or didn't get your MONEY'S worth, you got short changed they would tell you how great it would be then you open the box an realize u didn't get what you paid for after waiting for 5 years as since gt5, no not pleased we are here not for the majority of us, just glad your happy with what you purchased my friend just wish I could say the same, no pun. Intended.

They are not watching enough, don't have enough time to implement changes suggested by us or simply don't care.

On PD's defense, (even though it might've been coincidence) there were a couple of fixes in GT5 that seem rather random and unnecessary that I suggested. I remember the BMW M5 prior 2.0 had some minor modelling issues that I kept mentioning until they fixed. Either way I'm glad they did.

I hoped that they would listen to suggestions about some easy fixes in this game, but it seems they don't...

Because they don't have an official account on gtplanet? PD could use this site to give small unimportant updates or to confirm when someone complains about a bug that they are working on it. They could do community events, too. Forza has a cool event called bounty hunter.

Also, the only thing that really changed is the fact that the characteristics of the track(s) now affect that car's handling from a standing still. Otherwise, it has remained the same.

Compare SSRX to Goodwill. You will get two different results.

Let hope for more natural physics progression between PS3 and PS4 because there is no torque steer in GT6 and the tires simulation is bad.
For GT7 we will have to buy PS4 and I might prefer to buy PC.

All due respect for the effort, I'm not taking anything I read off twitter as indication of anything. He'll just say what he thinks people want to hear. If they didn't read GTP, their biggest fan website by far, do you think he would actually say that? It's just throwaway, meaningless marketing gibberish.

Only natural a "yes f-corse" reply on twitter, is prone to people suspecting it might be a case of marketing talk, and saying so here...

Especially seeing how PD has been treating feedback from us for many years now.

This is just an assumption, not a confirmation, I don't see anywhere a valid 'yes' or positive answer.

And if they're monitoring GTP, an MPG counter would be a nice addition.
Fingers crossed, just in case.

Tell us then what your reasonable timetable is to remain patient waiting for one/some/or all of the promised "future updates". Be specific please. Obviously 4 months isn't enough time to wait for the first major feature so what is?

FYI, calling people drama queens because they don't have the faith in PD that you do isn't the best way to have an adult discussion.

There are many things that are lacking in GT6 but for those complainers is there another car game for PS3 that provides an overall better experience? I have not encountered one. I did give up or got tired of GT5 and got Forza 4 and the system to play it on. However since GT6 has rolled out, have not even played Forza 4.

Granted I work sometimes 60 hours a week so probably play GT6 a few hours max each week. I would probably play more but am not a big fan of time lapped special events, when does GT5 online service end, hopefully the special race events will arrive end of April for GT6.

Really enjoy lots and lots of cars in GT6, Trans Am is my favorite.

Would like to get more into online racing, but need to connect with others as have not had much fun in the open lobbies.

So who has enjoyed the Tudor Sport Car championship series so far.
 
my only concern about the announced updates is the silence, not any potencial delay but the lack of communication.
same problem goes for other issues, no communication from PD side.
anyway, gt5 servers close may 20th and at june Nissan launches the "Connect NISMO Plus” with the new GT-R.
i suppose, its reasonable to expect some updates, till june, maybe may 20th.

No Rome wasn't built in one yr, but 15 yrs in a game industry with a Power House title & the money they have generated over the let me spell it out for you..."FIFTEEN YEARS" Is an eternity!!

They had 7 TITLES buddy, including the Prologue, gt 6 is the worst of all the previous titles, you say I'm the the Drama I think your confused, the drama is from your PD TEAM you must be we working with if you ask me, as for waiting I ain't getting any younger bro. Glad you are enjoying the waiting cool hand luke, because that's all we been doing is waiting, maybe your still in the Sunday Cup since November is the only thing I can think of, you hurry up and catch up with us will be here WAITING on you, & when you do you can join us & wait some MORE, as you watch another guy just as yourself pop his little head out & tell you the problem is you with your DRAMA then tell you to WAIT!

It's almost been 6 months no tracks, DLC, game Packages, car packages, Editing after a let me spell it , out for ya "FIVE" years since GT 5 so what have they been working on in between those FIVE YEARS? GT Academy shows, advertising game Trailers? Gimme a break!

We've known for a while that they read GTP. This isn't news.

As for the people who don't want people to tell them to be patient of wait, don't. Don't wait, shelve the game. Go play something else, read a book or two, get in shape, figure it out. In a few months, pop the game back in. Are you happy with the game now? If so than great, if not...It's just a game, pop it back on the shelf and go back to life.

Oh, and I find it really funny that the same people who think they don't listen to us are the same ones who say they complain to get the word to PD.
