How does this indicate that they can't be watching the suggestions on GTPlanet? Just because it isn't executed doesn't mean they can't be watching it.

Apparently some of you think watching and executing is the same thing, let alone expecting PD to somehow execute every single suggestion like it's a simple thing. Even if they're not "listening," that doesn't mean any less that they're not "watching." Eventually, the final decisions are all held at PD offices. Not every suggestion is going to turn out to everybody's liking.

Besides, it's common practice for developers to look at people's feedback and suggestion. It would be more baffling imo, if they don't. The question should be, "Why wouldn't they look at one of the biggest and well known GT website?"
If what is being asserted is that an exec at Sony has visited GTP once or a few times, sure I'll agree to that. I just don't think it has any meaning whatsoever beyond that.

Well, my point still stands. Just because the pacing of what we're suggesting doesn't match to that of what PD has given us, it doesn't necessarily detract that they could be watching it, which this thread simply notes. We're all making it too complicated by mentioning the value of it. PD has their own problems and things they themselves want to implement, while we sit here and wait. Whether it holds a meaningful value or not should be irrelevant and a whole different argument.

If we all truly feel like it doesn't matter, would anyone bother posting anything there? I see some people here that are against this and who have posted there. It's a bit contradicting in my opinion.

I remain a believer... Ís this a sign or what?

Sign of what exactly? There is no correllation whatsoever with Sony and PD being among us in the whole thread and video. Even the car being in the game in the forseeable future is just wishful thinking, nothing more.

Wow really? So stuff that was pretty much all in gt5, They could have all been on the cards already, If you want to take that as a reason to believe they listen to customers suggestion then good luck to you, But its also stuff that should have been on the disc and no need for it to be suggested, Also they didnt even implement the HUD options like in gt5, Its either on or off, PD are next to useless

@yosp Mr.Yoshida can you confirm that PD watching the GT Suggestions in GTPlanet?
Because several suggestions were implemented in update1:05

Maybe no question means no more questions?

We already knew that PD is aware of and follows the goings on of GTP. Kaz himself said so in an interview with Jordan nearly a year ago.

That does not mean that the goings on of GTP influence the goings on of PD in any way; and patching in a bunch of features that largely were things removed from GT6 after being in GT5 doesn't really prove it either.

"The suspense holds to the end" - you can say that loud ;)

I think they mainly watch GTP to find bugs and minor issues to fix.
Like when a few weeks ago, many members complained about a change on the run-off area physics and about some 4wd cars handling like FR cars, these issues got fixed after we complained.
I'm afraid that they don't pay much atention to more important stuff, like new features, cars, sounds...

maybe that takes more effort ... time ...

While you have a valid point there, I do wonder if that is the case....if they were paying attention then surely the Camber bug which has been present since the beginning would have been fixed. You could argue the 4WD thing was just because they realised they messed it up on their own

If this was the case don't you think they would of fix the pit road tire glitch by now. That's something that the community has complained about for a while now.

If you worked in IT ... and you knew how change management works ... in legacy systems ... you wouldn't be surprised by the amount of time it takes to get a change implemented....

we work here on a 10 year old system and to get a change implemented ... it takes 9 months!

If I remember correctly, the stuff added in 1.05 were things that were in GT5 taken out for GT6, not new features requested by the community.

This confirms nothing, especially with such a vague answer. Who know, he could have replied trying to say not to ask him any questions.

Like others have said, I take nothing away from this other than it's another scripted uninformative answer that in reality answers nothing.

Time will tell.
