depends on the track, for elevation changes, type s zero. for flatter course, choose type r. type s, 3.2 and 6 cogs as apposed to the type r with 3 and 5 speed. i persoanlly prefer the type r actually, less weight harder suspension 👍

thats for stock. tuning, id go type r all the way. love the black roof :)

For me the type S zero is better. I think I bought all of the cars and tuned them up and compared top lap times.

Was there a type R with the 3.2 and 6 speed box ever made by Honda in real life?
The current NSX-R (with the re-styled front end) has the current 3.2L DOHC V6, but the earlier styled NSX Type R had the original 3.0L V6.

This is going from memory so Iam a bit rusty but I think the Type R is an earlier model that had the 3 litre engine and 5 speed gearbox. The Type S is a later model which had the engine enlarged to 3.2 litres and had a six speed gearbox. The year that change happened was 1997 according to GT3 information about the NSX.
Notice how the bigger engine has the higher torque value at slightly less RPM.
The extra torque and extra gear make it faster.
This is for the two cars in the game.
