km, get over it! You sound like you're 8. All (normal) guys have one, its human, for Christ's sake. So what if he noticed it? If the dude had a hard-on, its gonna be pretty noticable, no?
 
No kidding. I mean, the guy could be hung like John Holmes. It'd be pretty hard (no pun intended) to miss then. Not to mention that I'd be proud to sport wood of that magnitude - if only to give other men inferiority complexes.

How many times must we tell you? Please keep your temper down. IRL (In Real Life), you'll need to hold back a lot of bad/harsh feelings, and you might as well get some practice doing so here.

And guys, we haven't quite crossed the line yet (I don't *think*), but do remember that this is a family-friendly site. ;) Wouldn't want Kristiaaaaan running to his mum now, would we?

Indeed. Why the hell would you get nude infront of men you don't know? How do you know there the type of people who will start going crazy on you. Besides, I would rather keep my private part covered up until I really need to, unleash the wrath.

I've never really ever been in a locker room before until recently. Just about all the guys on my team shower after practice. I was doing fine for the last 3 showers then one day while i was talking to this dude I sported wood. We kept talking like nothing happened no big deal. But i was pretty shy after that. should i let that bother me? Is it that bad to sport wood? I was embarasssed because so far, I've not been on this team but for a few days and i haven't seen anybody else do it. Quite a few of the guys walk around comfortably. I just grab a towel now.

Seriously though,.. the big joke at our school wasnt who was/wasnt naked in the shower,... it was what frosh got their leg pissed on and didnt realize it :lol:

Sometimes, wood just happens (you probably know this by now ;) ). I wouldn't worry unless he asks you to pick up the soap. :p

I've had no problems before. i think it was because my workout instructor has me drinking a 100 ounces of water adn i was holding back my pee. But i'm assuming the worse and it might not be that bad. I tend to do that sometimes. The person i was talking to didn't seem to care much. I'm not used to this environment. even at home i frequently get an erection so i would typically view it as normal except that i don't see any of them doing it. But maybe they are used to showering and it takes some getting used to.

I'm not afraid of it happening frequently. But i am afraid of when i does happen. And right now I'm just worried that if i get too nervous it may happen again because i worried thinking about it.
This is totally new to me the rest of these guys have been doing this for at least a couple of years.

Despite what anybody says i guess it is not good to worry about it but i do invite your opinions. thanks very much.

I'd be a little concerned, given that you're in your mid 20s- hey, at least you know it's functioning. If it's still doing that when in your late 50s you'd be a hero, I'd reckon.

Unless you're getting physical discomfort or it's getting increasingly awkward, it's probably okay to let go - if you stop thinking about it, the 'problem' will probably go away.
 
In the event you have no time in your life to work out except before work, I see a shower at the gym as a necessity. However, it isn't an "event," it's jusst a shower.
I guess I take Boom's view re: bacteria, but when forced to shower in a community setting I always wear flip-flops or shower shoes.
After spending 4-years in the Navy, and having no place to leave one's clothes in the head ("bathroom" for you landlubbers). You learn pretty quick to go from the compartment (living quarters) to the head with a towel wrapped around your waist (or over your shoulder) and your "dopp-kit" (shaving bag) in your other hand.
You "do your business" and go back to the compartment and put on some clothes.
Now the guy who insists on conversation and witty repartee, while hanging about (pun intended) nude in the locker room...He's just wrong!
 
I'm all for nudity in the girls locker room. In fact I encourage it.!
