Do you ever post something that's not ridiculous?

Anyway, if your fingers are cold, maybe make some hot chocolate, or some hot beverage, and place your hands on the mug? Works, usually, and it's a cheap way to do it.

How can you microwave ur hands when the door must be fully closed to operate? smart one... besides, the poor guy would "die" from radiation!

And you get the added bonus of a yummy nice drink. 👍

Yes, it has been cold recently, and it supposed to be summer.

Add a healthy splash of Jack Daniels as well. :)

Well, it's been acting like summer where I live (Shark Bay), I'll give you the tip. Couple of cyclones around, and we topped 43 degrees Celsius (around 110 degrees Fahrenheit, I think) last week. Hot!

There ya go, Meeek, I just thought of something - move to where I live, it's bloody hot over here.

We've got a bach up north (Bay of Islands to be exact, opposite to Waitangi) and we go up in the school holidays but I can't right now. :irked:

When outside wear gloves.
In lieu of gloves, have a fire in the fireplace waiting, with someone tending it (the person that asked you to shovel in the first place).

Scratch that, the BOI got 143mm of rain.

From running a CAD machine for too many hours straight, I would often take a break, and run hot water over my hands to warm them up. Can be painful, but it really helps.

I bought a microwave last weekend and the door's being open or closed has no bearing on whether it operates.

That's not good.

Numbness can also be a result of bad circulation. I would guess that stretching and flexing your hands and fingers would be helpful for circulation, maybe even coldness.

Actually if you jam a knife in the hole where the switch is that tells it the door is closed you can run the microwave with it open.

Years ago when I first started working we had 2 microwaves in the breakroom. I opened them both up and jammed a knife in the holes and turned them on and walked out. It didn't cook everyone in the room like I was thinking it would. .:trouble: Ohh well."best laid plans":D

Punch a brick wall several times untill your hands go red (and possibly bleed) and they will be so sore you will forget they are cold!:D
