How many times to you majorly mess up each lap? Or do you not? If so, is it just touching the wall, getting out of the track, or do you spin out?

nurburgring: probably 3 times in places i always mess up no matter what unless i crawl the corners

any others: probably once or twice. ive driven a few perfect laps though :D

Depends on how drunk I am, and how many times I have to pause the game to do something for the girlfriend. Why do short girls always need things that are high up off the ground?!

Hehehehe nice one Jay :D lol

I don't spin much, like, 1 time in 3laps I think... I practice verry much, I have alot of time right now. Sometimes I go to wide on the corner and don't make the whole corner or just like you said, touching the wall...

ive narrowly missed arse ending my RX7 into a wall at tokyo. it was literally centimetres from the wall and the car kept going sideways like it needed to :D

however on costa d' amalfia or wherever i knock into the walls on the back part of the curcuit a fair bit :(

This really depends on the track at hand. But once I get the feel for the car on a track, I usually mess up once or twice, if any(but that's rare.) I don't consider losing your drift a mistake, I just call it not drifting. To me a mistake is getting off track with more than two wheels, or hitting the wall hard enough to do damage in real life, or spinning out, or losing enough speed that you are 25mph from were you should be.

in one of my well-tuned setups i would say i mess up 0-2 times per lap. its usually just going off the track a little bit or an occasional spinout.

LOL, im in your boat. My girlfriend annoys the hell out of me when im on GT4... But i dont blame her, it must be so boring for her.
me i don't mess up that much really, i just dont drift aswell as i like too. (i dont know how to explain it) :sly:

Well, I was asking how many mess ups on average after you know a track decently. I used to mess up every other turn, but I've gotten it now to where I only do 1 or two... or at the most 3 major mistakes per lap.

around 3 if i try to kamikaze drift every single hairpin like im supposed to...i either understeer too much or oversteer too much...my problem is initiating a drift...but if i start it off right...i can finish it right

Well that depends on what track I'm driving. On El Capiton I almost never mess up, but on Leguna Seca I mess up a lot as I hate that track. :)

Laguna Seca is gay. I really hate the track. Oh, and as promised... I bought the SRT-10 and messed up in every turn. I didn't know that a stock SRT-10 with no aids still understeered like crazy. I hit every single wall in Trial Mountain =Þ

What are you guys talking about? Laguna is my fave track 1 mistake each time. lol always that turn b4 the corkscrew -_-" Other tracks its 2-3

el captain has one really tricky corner where you come out of the small tunnel and into a corner. Its hard as the corner is blind and on a slope

I rarely ever finish a lap due to my extremely short atention span...........

Hahahah that's alright. Then, how many times do you mess up between the time you start driving and the time you stop?

BTW, nice avatar =Þ

hmmm, Well this depends on the track, if it's a new track then it's every corner give or take a few, hehe..

But on Apricot Hill, it's never... I drift almost all the way around intil the long straight

Ill admit that im not the best drifter out there but i can do some awesome links but in the name of practice i do stuff up plenty trying to find the best pass and entry points around courses. The percentage of people who say they stuff up 0-2 times must be like so hard core. I wanna see you guys put a movie together and link a full course.

depends on the track, and if im using a car that i drift all the time and already fine tuned, or its a brand new car that im trying get the major bugs out of

if its the first (perfect car) normally only 1 or 2 per lap, depends on how aggresive i am
if its the second (new car) then its alot of trial and error...sometime up to 5-6 (normally i never complete a lap with these cars because after i find a bug, i fix it and restart)

im with ya there....

im also not the best but consider myself pretty good. if i havent drifted in a few days, then the 1st couple laps will be my "warm-up" and i will mess up quite a bit until i get the rythm goin...then i can usually pull off quite a few good laps with maybe 2 or 3 slight mess ups (off tracks and wall bumps, spin outs are when im warming up  )

Exactly. I mean when i go out on a drift track i usually wanna do it with a few cars. but because each car handles differently its only natural that a few laps of stuff ups will happen until i get use to the way the car drives, but even then i still make mistakes when i might not catch a drift or i wont link a whole lap or something like that nothing every major like wall hits or anything, just spins mainly

well your poll dosn't have a big enough range for me.
as for me in these last couple of hours I'd say I am just about at 55 spins and wall clips. high speed crashes into walls.
thered be less but im using the ps2 remote.
