Then join here! I'm looking for skilled drivers here. See, just when you thought some GTP races and leagues were hard, try this for size! So what if the race is incredibly long, you'll be bathing in credits and bragging about xp! Rules for this crazy race are stated below:

- The first rule is that you only sign up if you can make it through the whole race.
- Drivers may not spin or punt others off the track.
- Drivers in slower cars must let faster cars pass.
- A headset is needed for the race.
- No insulting other drivers.
- You can run stints with a friend, even if they do not have a headset.
- Practice/qualifying starts at 12:00 PM EST. Race begins at exactly 1:00 PM EST.
- 600 horsepower limit.
- 1000 kg limit.

Sorry the rules are mixed up. I rushed them. :lol:

Tire restrictions are set to Racing Hard and Rain, mechanical damage is at heavy, and all aids, with the exception of TCS and ABS, are off.

EDIT: I will try to get a 20,000,000 car, but if I cannot i'll get a Ferrari F1 car to give to the winner.

Wow, people are rude. :ouch:

I admire the enthusiasm here. I'm going to wait and see. My arms and shoulders are already so sore, I don't think I would last 10 laps at the moment.

4. Weather/time change is on. Starts with sunny weather, time of day is set to 3:00, and time progress is at 1.

Well I think people should run some laps on the track and multiply by 100. Wouldn't be as bad. Anyways, I was originally going to make it 200 laps. :D
 
Ill join if theres a million dollar prize... and i mean 'real' life million dollar prize :D
 
Time progress should be set to "2".. Since we will race for about 12 hours.. (If you want a 24 hour sycle)

Well, the OP does'nt say much about the rules. You could just link to GTP's official guidlines.. 👍

I think that since the race is so long, any compound should be legit..

Would'nt a weekend be good? It's hard to find 12 hours for GT5 on a weekday.

Wow, this is hardcore. I hope this works out for you guys, but I know I don't have that much time to put into a race.
 
Next weekend. Not this weekend, but the one after that. February 12th?

Remember to state the car you are using before the race.

For reference, it's not a 10-12 hour race. It clearly says it's 100 laps, so whenever the first car crosses the line on lap 100 it's over. Plus, the 'Ring 24h Circuit is not boring to drive on, unlike Tsukuba.

Yep, it's on a Saturday, just so it's not interfering with a weekday. Yes, there is a 20,000,000 credit prize.

I'd guess that average laptime would be 8 minutes..

That's 800 minutes = 13 plus hours..

How about the time progression?
