Hello all and welcome to week 2 of the NRS!
*EDIT* Please see post 16 for this weeks vote results 👍
Week 1 is well underway and going strong so far 👍 , as you all know you have from now until Sun 23.10.05 9pm GMT+1 to vote for next weeks cars.
Once again send me your top 3 choices for the week and i will announce the results sunday when voting closes.
Remember no discussing votes on here just PM me your choices, and vote for the ones you want to drive, not the fastest or best according to others 👍
Following warm up week and week 1 we are looking at cars within the 151-200BHP range, there are no FR options for this week, instead we have some medium power FF and 4WD to try and also something else at the bottom.....
Onto the cars....
The Audi Quattro '82-155 BHP/TON
What can i say, rally inspired and proven 4WD car that feels great around the Ring, dont be put off by the weight this ones really good fun.
The Honda Civic Type R (EK '97)- 160.95BHP/TON
Lightweight, screaming Vtec + Nurburgring = ? You decide!
The Mini Cooper "S" - 143.75BHP/TON
The big brother to the Mini One up for voting in warm up - i HAD to put this in, its that good...but again make your own decisions.
The Peugeot 205 T16 Road car '85-173.8BHP/TON
Another car with strong rally DNA peforms extremely well with great power and 4WD grip, could be a lot of fun.
The Mitsubishi FTO GP Version R '99-162.61BHP/TON
A surprise this one, Fantastic handling and such a sweet sounding motor, feels great around the Ring.
And now onto something else....Last week there was a car which impressed me so much with its ability i didnt want to put the controller down, there is a range of qualities that this car had which added up to such good times it would have destroyed the other cars and i didnt want that, with an oil change it just slips into
this weeks power bracket and deserves a crack at the 5 ive listed above in your testing and evaluation...if you dont agree with this then dont vote for it, simple as that. 👍
The Toyota MR2 V edition '02 - 154BHP/TON
MR layout, usuable power, traction and gearbox, just excellent.
