Haven't had a face-swapped Fox in a while. Here's an '83-6 Thunderchicken with the '87-8 front end.

Another A-body Mopar front end swap. This one's a coupe with '67-9 sheetmetal ahead of the doors and windshield. The coupe didn't bow until '70.

I can't imagine how much work was needed to fit the doors to the top. I suspect the top is no longer removable, which is a shame, but I love barn door Suburbans so I dig it.

'88-98 GM fullsize with a '67-8 Chevy grille and bumper. I...like it? If someone proposed modifying the front end of an OBS to accept the early fascia, I'd laugh right in their face, but this is very well executed. Now I want to see it with the quad headlamps of the GMC version.

It doesn't even look like a modification.

Wolseley Hornet with Clubman front sheetmetal and grille.

I love a Hornet (and a Riley Elf, to a slightly lesser extent), but I suspect the original front end was compromised and I dig it regardless.

Criminy. I wouldn't have thought this an odd modification given that the fenders and hood are the same, but it is crazy difficult to find a G-body Malibu coupe with the facelift front end.

Here's one with a pre-facelift for comparison.

And a junker part-way through the swap.

Found another one, the best picture yet. I'd prefer a chrome grille and bumper, but that's me.

I'm not sure what to make of the L88-style hood on this Cutlass.

My immediate reaction was to cringe, but now it's...not horrible? It's got a somewhat built Pontiac 400 under there, per the original listing, so it's not just flash without the dash. Could do without the 400 badges on either side of it.

I kinda dig it. It clashes with the rest of the car abit but at the same time, it feels...right somehow...

As someone who has very limited knowledge of the original car, I honestly thought that hood was a stock item.

I'd rock that, no joke.

So would I. I'm fond of the cars and that 400 has heaps of potential even if it hasn't been built to meet it. I'd probably change the wheels and get rid of those badges on the cowl scoop.

The engine isn't so odd in it either. Those cars were available with a Pontiac 301, which is in the same expansive engine family (Pontiac V8s share a lot with one another, the biggest differences being bore and stroke, and a couple, including the 301, got a shorter deck height) as the 400.

Why don't you have a car like this?

No you're not but I thought you'd have one by now considering how much you talk about them.
I go on trips where my interest in something flares up. I also exercise self-control and don't end up impulsively purchasing the object of my interest.
