Right, well, I was doing a 5 lap arcade run at the 'Ring. This was the starting grid: Nissan R92CP, Bentley Speed 8, Minolta 88C-V, Nissan R89C, Mercedes Sauber C9, Pescarolo Courage '03. I had set it up so the A.I. was using Super Softs and that I had hards, because I like watching the A.I. spin around the track. I was using the Pesky '03 in B-Spec. This is the weird thing I saw: On the second lap, right after he pitted, the R89C slowed down to 55 MPH around the western half of the track. Once he got on the straight along top he increased his speed to 175 MPH but everytime he hit that speed he slowed to 10-15 and just coasted. 175 was his new top speed. For the rest of the race he never went over this speed and every time he hit it he would slow back down to 10-15. He was also only accelerating with 3/4 throttle for the rest of the race. I found it pretty odd.

Did you save the replay?

I do have the replay saved but I can't get do anything with it anyways, as I can't upload it onto the computer as I don't know how and probably don't have the equipment to do it anyways. Another odd thing happened the next time I did it: It got me to race a black R92CP. I'm not sure if the car I was trying caused it to be that since it's also available in black (Toyota GT-1), but whatever. Some odd things at the 'Ring.

In order to upload replays onto a computer you need an AR Maxdrive.

He probably ran out of fuel, perhaps. That or his tires suck for some reason. Maybe it was a pit glitch and nothing was changed or refueled.

I raced against a black R92CP in the Minolta Toyota 88C-V on Super Speedway.

Try recording the replay via a phone and uploading.

Just my 2 cents. 👍

I dunno bout you but muh fone only records for about a min... i dont think theres many fones out there that record for long enough or with enough quality ( your tv's resolution sometimes effects it) to notice anything but blurry smears drifting across the screen.. maybe if they were to give commentary..lol

If you have a digital camera/camcorder, you can use that and then upload it from the camera/camcorder. Qualty's going to suffer obviously, but it would be easy and cheap if you have a camera/camcorder already.

Or if you have a video card with a S-Video IN (ie. ATI All-in-Wonders), you can record from the TV that way. I don't know how good the quality would be though.

Yeah, but the vids can be compressed, although like I said, quality will suffer.

And that stuff is expensive if you don't have it already, but many people already do. Camcorders/Digital Cameras aren't exactly THE newest technological advance. :)
