Not to act like a backseat mod, but shouldn't we be using the Car Wishlist Thread for that stuff?

I wanted that Cuda so bad. The 70 Cuda is my dream car. Good thing at least some sorta Cuda comes with F4. :)
I just had no intention of paying for F3 FUC when I already had F3.

Don't blame ya, although all together after DLC Turn 10/Microsoft got me for $135.00 bucks. I love my cuda tho 71 is my favorite year, loved it GT4 as well although it sounded like crap.

It would be a good idea to leave the wishing to another thread...

The pre-order shenanigans are slightly annoying, especially since up until recently, BestBuys in Canada didn't offer the LCE. They do now though, which is why I pre-ordered there - the '11 STI sedan doesn't interest me much with the hatch in the game (a fair assumption), but the 1M is certainly interesting. I'm wondering if we won't be able to put them up for sale in the marketplace, or at the very least, share within the in-game clubs...

Anywho... heck yes E39 :D

This recent trend of having unique pre-order bonuses at half a dozen different retailers has got to stop... :(

Definitely. I wouldn't mind chosing one, but having to order from a retailer I don't want to order from sucks big time.

It was only a matter of time with such a constant negative attitude. His post in the GT4 General Discussion thread was a big, "WTF?", too.
 
I'd be more excited for the E39 M5 Had the one I drove blew me away as much as the 05 CTS-V that I got over the M5 in 08' :(. I admit the V was $7k cheaper and had less miles :D But its still a fine car that opened the class wide open to the ridiculously overpowerd sedans of today, Here's looking at you RS6.....

Right now The Starion has me stoked. Oh Sega GT 2002 how you disappointed me wasting all that time grinding it out get that car....
 
Forza Garage Round 2: Where would modern German performance cars be without the 1986 BMW M635CSi? The same goes for the 1983 Audi Sport Quattro and 1984 Volkswagen Rabbit GTI—gamechangers in their own right.

Someone on FM.net actually called the 635CSi right after the round 1 reveals from today. Impressive guess.

Yeah, I read that bit about the 635CSi, too. There's one guys who created a list of cars that ought to be in FM4, due to their appearence in the Jalopnik voting and whatnot... Kinda curious as to whether he's right on all of them.

He called the Syclone and now the 635... Could be interesting.
 
Very excited to hear about the E39 M5 being in game. I've wanted that one for a long time.

And why is everyone concerned about what car they get from pre-ordering? As I understand it, the car you get for pre-order you just get for free in game. If you pre-order from Gamestop and get the Alfa, but you really want the CRZ, just run a few races until you have enough money to buy a CRZ. It's not like CRZ won't be in the game if you bought it from Gamestop and not Walmart or wherever it is the pre-order bonus.
 
Am I the only one that wants to trick out a beetle? Like a 69 or 71 VW Bug with a Porsche 914 engine swap, nice paint, and some good looking wheels?

If I had a wish it would be for that...

Don't get me me wrong I love the SRT10 Ram the year they choose for Forza 3 was probably the ugliest vers right after the facelift besides the 2005 was the world record holder for fastest truck... As for what ppl said about first sport truck, the cyclone was fast but the Little Red Express Truck from Dodge was the original.

Which HSV proceeded to obliterate with the Maloo,:sly: and in all honesty the Ram was probably never the fastest, just that the Maloo had never made an official run at it. And I don't know if you count it, but El Caminos and even more importantly, Aussie sports utes, well and truly pre-date that Little Red Express Truck.;)

Edit: Aww hell yeah, forget the bland sedans, the coolest BMW (all IMO;)) ever made is in today. The 1986 M635CSi.

I actually think that BMW have consitently been making very good looking cars, with a few exceptions here and there...
 
I've always found BMW, from a personal perspective, to have very bland and boring design. Handsome yes, but nothing that strikes me (bar the M635CSi).
 
Well, most BMWs surely aren't striking, but I guess that's what I like about them. They've got a certain sublety to them, while still keeping a sporty look. It's hard to describe, really. They're just striking a chord with me. Most of them, at least. Moreso than, say, Mercedes, VW or Audi, or foreign manufacturers like Ford, Chevrolet and so on.
 
I like BMW's consistency in their designs, as well as their sublety. I love that they have remained true to their heritage. Keeping their historic grill, their well known naming conventions, and reputable stature.

BMW is the first choice for me for anything that competes in the class. (though the new Cadillacs are swaying me)

That would make sense, though, as BMWs are usually considered to be the yard stick of whatever class they are in - well, the M cars are, at the very least :D

Keep in mind most of the cars the community asks for, T10 provides. 👍

Always ask for cars because even if T10 cant get the car you want in this game, they could in DLC or in the next game. They truly listen to the community. :)

I honestly ran out of cars to ask for because I think T10 has provided every single car I asked for since the beginning of F1. For F3 I wanted the 2002 Ram Air Trans am and got it. Also wanted the Cuda and got that later kinda in the FUC. Now for F4 I wanted the short tail McClaren and there it is. So I really cant think of anymore cars I want at this point. F4 will have every car I have ever asked for in a racing game. :dopey:

EDIT: Oh wait I do keep asking for T10 to take that stupid vinyl top off the 69 Camaro. Thats been my top request since F1. So hopefully they finally grant that wish this time in F4. Cant stand that vinyl top. Or at least let us take it off.

T10 has a dedicated sticky thread for car requests. http://forums.forzamotorsport.net/forums/thread/4389395.aspx

They also have a sticky thread for track requests. http://forums.forzamotorsport.net/forums/thread/4389398.aspx

They make request threads for every game and they truly listen to the replies and feedback from the community. So if you or anyone else has car or track requests for Forza 4, this is the time to ask for them. Keep in mind there will be DLC packs just like F3. So if you dont see your car at first it could come later as DLC or maybe in F5.

Im pretty sure if I remember correctly thats not how it works. The only way to get those cars is by preordering from a particular store.
 
I don't know why everyone's cryin' over Porsche....even without them, FM4 has a better car lineup than GT5.
