Some good news.

We hope everyone is enjoying Lost Coast. We've received a number of e-mails with positive feedback about the commentary system included in Lost Coast, so it's a safe bet that we'll look for ways to include commentary in future products.

We're now going to be looking toward releasing some new Counter-Strike: Source content we've been working on. The next two maps coming will be updated versions of de_nuke and cs_militia, along with a number of new player models for both sides. We'll give everyone a sneak peek at Nuke and some of the new models next week.

I,m so looking forward to the skins in CS: Source, looking forward to using the SAS skin in the CS: Source update.
 
The beginning by the beach is very impressive. The water running across the rocks. Just dont go too deep into the water or you become a snack.
At one point there was a glitch and some of the bodies were just levitated in the air when I was upstairs. Very spooky and only happened when I died the 2nd time.
 
After experiencing this demo, I am looking forward to more implementation of their HDR development in games. A lot of the effects are subtle enough that they don't seem to be "effects" per say, but rather environmental enhancements to help engulf the player into the game.

This is for xbox but still I have never seen anyone record this. So far the graphics are very impressive for the x-box. See the xbox Half life 2 thread for more vids. If you want any other vids let me know.

I'm such a wuss. I can't even play HL2 without getting scared. Which is why i havent played it since the first few days i had it.

Dont feel bad. I only play it when my girlfriend is around. She absolutely loves watching me play this game. Ravenholm is really the only scary level of the game.
 
When I played this and beat it for the PC I had no way of recording the game. Now of xbox I can record everything. So if there is a favorite level or part of the game let me know and I will record it for any of you. :)
 
Try F.E.A.R it scares more people then Doom 3. Also I,m about to play some CS: Source, if anyone wants to play me.

F.E.A.R isn't really that scary (or atleast not when compared to "Project Zero 2: Crimson Butterfly") it is however very very creepy, I have managed to waste a good deal of rime on F.E.A.R swinging around and opening fire on thin air because I though t I heared the footsteps of an enemy trying to sneak up on me.

F.E.A.R uses disembodied footsteps and creaks to great effect, definately a good game for playing in the dark :nervous: .

Ravenholm gives me the creeps. Those black poison headcrabs, the way they move, their chitter... SCARY!!!

GT Racer, yes.

My laptop is a 3000 64 athlon, 512 ddr ram, and a 64 mb 5700. It runs Half Life 2 with no probs.

Code, my pc is not actually a laptop, it's a Vaio desktop, with a laptop GFX card.
Sony say I can't upgrade the GPU, only ram. And Sony call it a:
'multimedia machine to play the latest games, video and much more'

Though a program says that my mobo accepts AGP...
