I know, but thats like 3/5 of 1 grand!!

Seriously he sounds like he needs all the money he can get. Do the Brown Thunder missions continuously like I said...

Thanks again for the help everyone.

Right now I've just completed some new stuff and once again I'm at a stand-still.

Actually, let me give you a break down of what I've done so you guys can point me in the right direction.

I've completed the malibu club, global films, printing press, boat dock, cherry popper and maybe some other assets.

Right now I own something like 7 properties and I'm 43% through the game.

I really have no clue where to go since I don't know what other properties there are to buy.

I bought the pole position, but that isn't making any money... should I start with that?

Or is there something else I can do?

Thanks again for the help,
Back soon to check what all's been said...
Till then,

If you have completed the assets you listed, that should progress the storyline missions-- have you done the missions you get from your mansion yet after the mission shakedown (I believe they are called backroom brawl and copland)--if so you should get the last two story missions.

I'd verify that the 5 you listed are making money as well as the mansion (mansion makes money too)--its possible you may have done one, got killed and reloaded over your progress-- if thats all done, there should be an pink glowy thing at the Printworks (you should have got a call to go there)...this will continue the story missions.

Pole position is easy to complete-- go inside and go down the hall--on the first left enter-- you need to spend $600 in there on a lap dance (the money is subtracted automatically--you might want to write down what you started with...takes about 10 minutes I recommend going and making a sandwich).

The only assets you didn't mention in your post are Sunshine Auto's and Kaufmann cabs.

Sunshine autos has a stolen car list on the wall in back you need to complete and bring back to the garage next to the list. To complete the asset, just do the first list...each additional list will make more money per day for you and is required if you ever want to get 100%.

Kaufmann cabs has 3 missions I believe--they aren't too bad.

Have fun-- although you are only 43% complete-- you are almost done with the story missions---there are still alot of side missions and other side stuff to do.

Spuds.

Thanks a ton spuds.

I know off the top of my head for sure that these places are making money for me.
Malibu
Mansion
Films
Boat yard
Cherry poppers
Printing press

I've also completed the phil cassidy and biker gang stuff.

I have not done the taxi company missions, nor have I done anything at the strip joint.
And also the sunshine auto missions need to be done.

Also, I did get a call on my cell phone at the printing press, but I screwed up and didn't get to hear it.
Now when I load my game it starts there and it doesn't give me a cell phone call.
What's that call about?

For now I'm gonna go get the "hauffman," "sunshine auto," and "pole position" stuff out of the way.
Back when I complete those or have trouble doing so.

Till then,
thanks :D

By the sounds of it it's either a thank you, or a warning telling you that the Forelli Mob is here taking over your stuff.

Yeah, I finished the pole position and then the "cap the collector" missions.

After that I finally heard from lance.
Now on my save the first thing I go to do is meet lance.

I'm not sure but I think he is at the V mansion since there is an odd second V on the map.

Anyway, back later after I figure out what is going on there.
Will try to beat it, then I will be back with my thoughts.

Sounds like you got the call for "keep your friends close..." (this is the final Storyline mission) this is fairly tough but not impossible...so you can probably do it without help. It will likely take you a fair amount of tries-- I wouldn't ask for help unless you are completely lost

NO ONE POST SPOILERS FOR THIS MISSION PLEASE-- unless he asks for help.

You might find it easier (if you haven't done this already) to get your max health and armor up to 150-- When I passed it the first time--my max armor was 150 but my max health was only 100.

Good luck

Thanks, just went and beat it. :D

Great game. 👍

Now I'm doing the kauffman missions.
Working on those shouldn't take too long.

btw, I also went and got that apache!
Awesome little chopper... I even did the vigalante missions up to level 8.

Thanks again for the help everyone.
Much appreciated. :D

Mission: Dildo Dodo

I suck at flying seaplanes. Period. Any help? :banghead: Do I really need to complete Film Sutdio in order to unlock the final two missions?

Dont push fully down to get it to fly, you have to ease it up into the air. The whole thing with flying the seaplane is easing it around, don't just jerk it left or right, glide. But if you have to quickly turn left or right, push back also so it doesn't descend too much.

That any help?

Yes, but I always have 2-5 checkpoints left when my fuel runs out. :grumpy:

Go to the south of the island then work your way north, It's a fairly easy route and you shouldn't have to much trouble. Just keep the plane at the same level as the checkpoints and you should get them all fairly easy.

^Yes. Don't start north, it's too hard to plan. Do south to north, but watch out for the one that's in between 2 buildings. For that, go wide before turning into it, you have plenty of fuel so take it easy in the mission.

This is off of gamefaqs.com

I used this route and had plenty of fuel-- I'd print this out and after each set of points, pause and look at the directions.

Strategy: Although the checkpoints can be obtained in any order, if you get them
using the following sequence, you will be able to fly a circular pattern around
the city and eliminate the need to reverse direction to get the next checkpoint.
Once you are airborne, begin flying west to the starting checkpoint in the
center of Downtown (1). (Note: This is NOT the checkpoint immediately to the
west when you start!) Ideally, you should approach this checkpoint from the
north and be traveling south. Fly south to the ending checkpoint that is in the center of Little Haiti. The next starting checkpoint is located south of the previous ending checkpoint in the southwest part of Little Haiti (2). The ending checkpoint is above the Escobar International Airport terminal entrance. After reaching the ending checkpoint, fly east to the next starting checkpoint over the docks in Vice Port (3). The ending checkpoint is in the eastern part of Little Haiti near the
bridge to Starfish Island. Once the ending checkpoint is reached, the next
starting checkpoint is located directly to the north of the previous ending
checkpoint (4). The ending checkpoint is between two buildings in Little Haiti.
You will need to approach the ending checkpoint from the west, traveling east in
order to line up with it and avoid crashing into one of the buildings. The next
checkpoint is located in the northeast part of Downtown (5) and its ending
checkpoint is immediately west of the bridge leading to Prawn Island. The final
starting checkpoint is located in north Downtown above the dirt bike track (6).
The final ending checkpoint is located in the west part of Downtown.

I kept failing this mission, but then I bought The Pole Position Club and got the revenue. Well, what do you know, the final two missions are unlocked. So I'll put aside Dildo Dodo until I need to reach 100%.

Mission: Keep Your Friends Close...

I can't kill Sonny!! I manage to kill Lance and the mob, but Sonny is to powerful with his Kruger (Ruger?). I tried firing rockets, but it doesn't work...

All you really need to kill Sonny are some shots from the Python, also quick fingers, that is unless you want to go running around looking for health pickups.

I'll type up my way of doing this, i actually do this mission pretty easy, and I don't find it hard at all.

Before hand you will need:
1. A powerful SMG or a Machine Gun that can manual aim.
2. Rocket Launcher with about 50 rockets (just in case).
3. Good health and armour (preferrably 150 each by completing the Vigilante and Pizza Boy missions).

OK, when you first start up in your office, pick off the guys running in with your SMG or Machine Gun until Lance speaks. Make sure the door is clear of people and run out. After the short cut-scene finishes, sprint to the helipad, don't worry if you're actually beating Lance there, go there. As soon as you reach the helipad, run for the helipad itself, ignoring the guys and the bullets they're firing at you. Don't worry, they won't come after you on the helipad. As soon as you've regained your brain back to think, get the Rocket Launcher out and shoot a few rockets and the railing at the end where the guys and Lance are (stand back for this). Then run down, and shoot rockets at the remaining people. Once they've gone, shoot rockets continuously at Lance (if he hasn't already died). That's Lance gone.

Go back inside and go to the bottom floor to get health, then the 1st floor (as you come into the mansion normally). Be sure to hug the wall on the left when you get into the open (so you don't trigger the cutscene) and run around to behind the staircase. As soon as you've regained yourself, get the Rocket Launcher out again and fire a heap of shots at him making sure to be very accurate as his men are very accurate too! There you have it, easy!

Hope that helps.

Just a note make sure you have quick reload so that the rockets are of some use. Without it they are too slow to be usefull.

Yes, but I done it without quick reload the first time. But of course it'll be easier, a hell of alot easier, so use that too. If you don't know how to get this, complete the Ammunation shooting range AFTER you've done it as one of Phil's missions.

I know, you have to score over 45, but I can't even get past 28. I hate this mission... :grumpy:

I know this mission is frustrating at first but there are a couple of ways to take out Sonny-- I've never survived a frontal assault (although it is possible)--I've killed Sonny 2 ways.

1. Make sure you have a PSG1 before you start. When the Sonny part of the mission is triggered, go out your office and hug the wall, go around the open area upstairs staying close to the wall. Now go down to the first floor and come around from Sonny's left-- barely peek around the corner and snipe him--- takes a few shots (I can't remember how many--its been 14 months).

2. Either go downstairs and out the back or go up to the roof and jump off the side or back of the mansion--load up on armor or weapons if needed. Ready your rocket launcher and make sure you have plenty of rockets. Blow up the limos out front and kill any goons that get in your way. Go up on the stairs and fire several rounds into the doorway and on the edges of the doorway. This should kill him and when you enter the final cutscene should play.

Yea, I've heard alot of people say that number 2 is the best way. I haven't used it, but I've used every other way I could find on the net and I still think my way is pretty easy. I say to whoever asked how to do this mission try my way or Spuds' number 2 way.

Been a long time since this was up and I knew it was there so here's my question...

How many Vigilante missions are there in the Apache helicopter (stolen from the military base)?

I'm currently on 19 and hoping it will give me some kind of cool reward.
Thanks to any who have any advice.
Until I hear back from someone... :D

You get your reward (150 max armour) at Level 12, and you can continue to do the mission for as long as you like.

Thanks Blake. (+rep for the helpful post)
I'm sorry to hear the reward is only 150 body armour after 12 missions.
That makes me feel robbed since I would hope the helicopter vigilante mission would give a reward different from the normal police vigilante mission.

In any case, thanks for the help!

Don't know if you count getting "stinking rich" as a reward, - but if you're reasonably capable in a Hunter, then "Brown Thunder" is the fastest way to make money.
It is also an easy way to boost your criminal rating, especially if you destroy all the parked aircraft when you're near an airport (at the higher levels of vigilante it won't earn you a wanted level).
