I'm just on engine level 6 & muffler level 4 I think. Fastest I got the GTR up to is 310 with extra boost set at level 3 on so far no tuning on the GTR.. Im still on normal tranmission haha.. not sure why but it seems like the GTR have no high end my mazda RX-7 with level 6 engine and level 3 muffler can hit 333km/h with only 5 gears.
I remember when I had stage 5 engine on the GTR I got smoked by a bunch of a VW beetles I got up to like 280km/h and then they just blow by me

just imagina at the third trabk i battle with ae111 with my gtr-34 & it can catch me even my speed 310...hmmmm

I got level 7 engine my GTR has 328 km on it. what happened was I beat a bunch of boss like 3-4 in a roll and then when I exit it said level 7 engine is here Im up to like 630ps with the skyline but high end is still not that good
ok, so engine swaps seem to be a possibility?? if so, because of the liscences, im guessing the swaps will only b possible between cars of the same manufactorers(automodellista anyone?? as long as u can upgrade the engine AFTER the swap it will b worth it)...just an idea

oh yeah (ive been pretty fond of the little edit button lately), about the ricey stuff in sb01. even when playing txr0 i had to put myself in the mindset of a highway racer in japan and the ricier stuff seemed easier to tolerate. i meen for the most part the spoilers and crazy aero parts have a purpose because the japanese seem to b very big on functionality (as it should b). so just remember most of it has a reason and the japanese tend to b harder to shock than their western counterparts (us, hehe) so they come across as more "extreme". i just feel u have to aquire a taste of sorts...............which i have ...now go0d night to all

about the program to edit txr01, i dont think it will b nessacry...i mean genki has always been go0d at letting u do just about anything to their car models already, and thats even more apparent in this newest release(customize the paint job on any car, pick which material ur aero parts are in, even window tint darkness AND color*cough"rice*cough* hehe...) and if the engine swaps hold true then a toyota 2000gt with a fully modded 2jze, or a 240z with a maxed out RB should b enough to fullfill ANYONES speed desires....i mean 1000+whp in 1500 lb car, cant get much faster than that, the possibilites are endless

Hey everyone! I just bought Tokyo Xtream Racer Zero off the net and it should be here soon... I am not really big on Ps2 games...how long will a normal game take from going to Japan to America???? Could everyone start using the auctual terms instead of shortened tems.. like SRS, TERO I am getting kinda confused! thanks everyone! well there hasnt been a video posted on this thread recently, and maybe not at all, so i think ur at misunderstanding. the link is to another froum, specifically a txr01/sb01 (tokyo xtreme racer 01/shutokou battle 01) thread. those are both the same games, txr01 is just the u.s. versions title. and u have to b joking about the whole abriveations thing, how bout u SLOW DOWN and concentrate on what u read a little more..itll help with more than just this thread
and i might have to b the first to break it to u, i have some bad news.....if u just bought tokyo xtreme racer 0 then ur out of luck, this the thread for its sequel, txr01. and even u have bought txr01, then u must have a modded ps2 or a japanese ps2 to play it...and actually its most likely u bought the wrong one because u called it "Tokyo Xtream Racer Zero", since the only 01 out right now is Shutokou Battle 01, it lo0ks like u bought an imported copy of an old game. too bad, u can get tokyo xtreme racer 0 for 19.99 now at best buy, and u could play it on ur ps2 after buying it. once again, slow down a little bit...........

I know you said something about a video...and a camero going though a tunnel and you said it sounded awsome and I clicked on a link ad it brought up media player..but nothin came on... So sorry for the confusin about that.. I DID buy Tokyo Xtream Racer Zero.. Not 01...and it Is american ...I bought it off of Ebay!
ok, well i still recomend un try and operate at half the speed ur going at right now
to clear things up....
1. if the video doesnt work ur probably missing a codec, search around, not my job
2. the awesome sound in the tunnel comes from none other than a c4 corvette...as far as i know a camaro does not make an appearence in the game....but a few american cars that do are vette, viper, firebird, mustang mach1 or gt500, and the new ford gt supercar....i cant confirm these because i dont have the game yet....

in the car dealer manual its under GM then firebird... havent unlock any corvettes yet but both the C4 & C5 is there i've raced them.
I also beat a 350z wanderer and i finally own one! bad news is the 350z have really bad body kit bolts on and only like 2 types, and the 2nd bad news is it sounds nothing like the real car, I own a car with the same engine only .5 liter smaller it sounds nothing like that but the redline(6500) and powercurve is dead on plenty of torque cruising at 3k in 6th gear lol judging by that I think all the other car's powercuve is pretty dead on too.
an update in the cars of txr01!!! ....now those of us waiting for the game to come to the u.s. can see all the cars available....check out the "special cars", i read recently the mcr skyline holds the record on wangan....thats "no one better"'s silvia, DORIFTO!!!!!!... and u can get the "west c4" and the "ridox supra" from the intro ..it still amazes me at the american cars in the game....mach 1, 80's firebird....glad we have both the c4 and c5 vettes though...back to work i go
