Oh well :/
I am using a xbox tho![]()
EXCUSE ME! I am past bashing Dirt2. I actually find it quite entertaining now.....
Just a heads up for PS3 players, the demo will be available on the EU PSN store later today(29th).
Wow, i'm not quite sure how to react to that!.![]()
Now i've had the opportunity to play the demo I can finally come to my conclusion on this game. It sucks.👎
Here's a quick summary as to why:
- The cars felt exactly the same and were very unresponsive even with changes to the setup
- You have to pretty much turn off the (horrid) SFX to hear the pacenotes
- The stages are too wide and very boring
- The visuals/graphics are crap, it felt like I was playing a PS2 game
- There was not much of an improvement when I played it with a wheel either (Driving Force GT) - thankfully you can adjust some of the settings
I personally think this is the worst game out of all the official WRC titles.
I certainly like the fact you can destroy fences, signs, etc - better than the silly invisible wall two feet off the road surface in the rally stage on the GT5 Best Buy/Target demo. If that stays in the final release of GT5, then WRC 2010 has my vote for rally game!
Really? Because I hit into the fence my car came off worse on the WRC Demo. For the record, I prefer Dirt 1 over this.
Since we are comparing this to Dirt ...
I can feel/perceive the weight shift in dirt2, i can control understeer with weight shift and oversteer with fine throttle control. There is none of that here. It feels a tad backwards.
I was comparing to Dirt 1, not Dirt 2... WRC is in between IMHO.
I find the abs abusive
It felt like driving a van, it felt unresponsive, under steer on every corner.![]()
