Yeah, I have a Japanese PlayStation account in addition to my US one.

I went to the Japanese Store and saw the 3 cars for download and downloaded them.

However they don't unlock in game. I even started a new GT5 game on my Japanese account... It didn't unlock there, either. Region coded gifts are stupid.

I think this thread was originally talking about DLC cars that many thought they could get in GT5 on Christmas day. So perhaps it was on topic in the GT5 section.

I could be wrong though.

Exactly, they clearly stated it is for the Japanese owners of the game.

It would be, but then it would be deemed as a useless "complaining" thread and would have gotten locked.

My Christmas was horrible. All I got for Christmas was GT5, a weekend holiday and an Olympus EP-L1. Terrible haul. I was expecting a new car.

I didn't get GT5. I think that's because I don't have a PS3
I got Animal Crossing (Wii and DS), Black Ops (Wii), and monies (where I bought a Rocketfish mouse and headphones).
