After a race or two in GT3 you will have to change the oil or your car's hp or it will be 20 hp less powerful without the oil change!

A red light will indicate when an oil change is needed. I dont know where the red light will be but it just said there will be one to indicate.

The game gets more real in every new installment. :)
 
Yeah, I wonder if there's a charge for changing the oil?
 
I pre-ordered Gt3 and have been waitin ever since. Can you believe in less than a week we will be playing the best racing game on the planet (of course up until GT4)?
Anyways I think the addition of oil change is cool. I also heard that if you buy a car with N/A you can modify the car to be suprecharged or turbocharged! I just hope the rally mode will be on about the dame difficulty level as the 2nd one. If it is then the Prototype Impreza is already mine.
 
If only you could take off these modifications...  :(

If you change the oil on a regular basis, the car gets more power. My Viper went from 1024 to 1099 hp just by changing the oil after every series race.
 
that only happens once
when you get a new car, check the HP and then change the oil right and then check it again, the stock HP will be increased. I guess every car you get you get it with bad oil even though it looks good before you change it.
this works on every car, on some i've even got a 100hp boost just for changin the OIL
