has anyone fried a motor yet by forgetting their oil changes?...just want to know if that's what happens...or if you just lose most of your power due to a sludgy engine..

I haven't fried a motor yet but in just over a thousand miles, (which were mostly spent grinding the american championship's indy' circuit) my ZR1 (RM) has needed 4 oil changes! While drivin this track I know it needs changing when my lap times drop to the mid' to high 00:46's.

Most of the cars that you buy from the Used Car Dealer need an oil change to boot because of the high amount of miles on them.

i have changed the oil on all cars when i feel the motor is running rough and the carnot getting out of it'd own way as quick....

Oil changes always increase horsepower, even on new cars. I've seen it go up as much as 40 horsepower.

Used cars always need an oil change, even if they have low miles.

I never let my cars get to the point of "needing" an oil change. I change it often to keep the horsepower at peak.

I bought this S2000 R1 and guess what..? i forgot the oil, saw the red light but the car did move on the track.. havent driven it since i changed the oil.
