By chance I found an old interview with Mark Cale on Youtube.
He is talking about 20 downloads planned, 5 cars and 1 track per month, and replays that can be saved to disk.
Yup, I remember. And not very fondly.
System 3 also promised Monaco as FREE DLC when the game was released.
