Thanks for the welcome, I look forward to being part of the GT community.I have already posted a problem. Please don't hate me but i was too excited to search if it was already asked before.

Hey, welcome to the Planet. By "old", do you mean that your high school diploma is old enough to drink? There's a number of us here...

Welcome aboard and enjoy your stay!

I understant that Neon Duke and Boombexus are the top boys around here so I'll say hi to you. I'm actually 21, what I meant was that I've been playin since the days of GT1.

I'll get the whiskey and the whip!:)

Seriously though, welcome, I hope you have a good run here and enjoy all parts of the site. And remember, try reading back about three months or so in the forums when you get bored, you just never know what you'll find:D.

Well, Boom is one of the fastest guys around. I'm most assuredly not.

We're both part of the moderator staff, which includes anybody else with the SM or M badge by their user name: Der Alta, Sage, GilesGuthrie, vat_man, GoKents, sn00pie, Pako, Josh, Talentless, NocturnalPS, MazKid, Punk Rock, bengee, etc. Jordan is the site owner/operator, and Alt-F8 is an admin.

Anyway, as Der Alta suggested, check out the whole forum and try your thumbs at online racing in the OLR series. Have fun.

Just thought I'd join in and say hi, with my 1st post.

I'm a driving gam,e nut, but somehow never played GT - I'd toyed with the idea of GT3 for ages but never took the plunge - I don't really know why!

Anyways, I bought it last weekend, and I can't beleive it - its amazing, I can't beleive it.

Why have I never bought it before!?

Although I'm sruggling a bit, not enough money to buy a decent car.

Hi, Rich, and welcome to you too! Glad to see you've finally joined the fold. GT3 is indeed a way of life, much as I hate to use that phrase.

The money issue will only be a problem for about the first half of Beginner level. If you search for "money" in the trhead titles, you will find many ways to make a fast bit of cash. But here's my favorite:

Get a stock Eunos/Miata - any 1.8 l model will do - and put T2 tires on it. Then go run the Roadster enduro which is a lot of fun, and a guaranteed win in this car if you pit once or maybe twice. If you have a Miata already you can remove all the upgrades (tires are legal) unless you have done weight reduction, port/polish, or engine balancing on it.

You will win 100,000 credits and have a 25% chance at an F1 car, which can be kept for later or sold for lots of money.

Enjoy your stay with us!

I'm surprised Famine isn't a mod. He knows more about this game than anybody.

yeah, when does Famine get mod rights? I might be guessing but is he not a mod because he would go out and ban people for so much as typing with bad grammar?
