Hai guys,

Not posted for a while... Nowt much happening with me on the car front, I sold my RX8 and thought that given I don't need a car for commuting or shopping I could just rent one every now and then. Thinking of some classic convertible first, dunno.

Anyway has anyone else been playing bloons tower defense? It's so addictive, I can't seem to get through a day without playing it at least twice. I only play it on hard now but I am trying to work out the best strategy. I also wanna work out if there's a way to get through all the levels without using any spikes.

I played it for a bit, yes.

I got more addicted to Desktop Tower Defense however, and the genre was old when Bloons came along. :indiff:

Bloons is still enjoying tremendous popularity where I live... but no, I don't think anyone has tried this version yet.

Fair dues, I don't really get bloons original though. it's just so boring :S it's like a monkey, with some darts lol.

but bloons tower defense is the best of both worlds. it has the hilarity of monkeys but also the strategy requirements of the tower defence games. :D
 
Myself and bunch of Uni mates got addicted to the original Bloon's series last year. We used to compete in speed runs during class, how sad right? Anyways back on topic, never got into Bloon's Tower Defence.

can u explain what's so cool about bloons? i'm really annoyed that i'm missing something that everyone seems to be getting :S haha

Probably the simplicity of playing the game, it's just so easy play (like most flash games). Throw in a few ridiculously hard levels which take a while to work out and you have a highly addictive game. We stumbled across it while researching an assignment for our Flash class and immediately loved it.

Simplicity and the absurdity of the scenario: I mean, it is a monkey throwing darts, about as trustworthy as a monkey with a lighter... not to put them down or anything.
 
I've gotten back into playing Bloons again now that I'm working. I've cleared all the 3 developer Bloons and all the player-made Bloons up until level 49 on Player Pack 3. I know exactly what to do, just can't string the shots together. :indiff:
 
I played the first one, got to lvl 50 without losing any lives, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnddddddd...its not fun anymore :(

EDIT: My 400th post, taken a while, i dont spend much time every day on here so yeah...
Oh.....its taken me since October, thats a while.
