I get the impression from many posts that you've made over the years that you most likely speak or understand Spanish. Where is this wonderful place that serves their beer in the proper barware for each brand? To get Franziskaner in a proper weizen pint glass I had to go out and get my own.
 
This whole birthday thing is old news now. Why are we still talking about it?

If you want to come down for the Argentina-Germany game, they're having a buffet and all you can drink beer for only $15. Then there's some kind of beer tasting biergarten party on july the 16th or 19th or something like that.

Also, sometimes I think you just get lucky with glassware selection. For instance, they put my Kostritzer in a Franziskaner glass, but it's close enough. I think they try to match at least.

They also sell boot-shaped glasses which I assume hold 1L. Not too fond of drinking from a shoe though.

Argentina-Germany game? They have baseball teams? Bier drinking teams? Or is there some other sport going on right now that I am completely oblivious to?

I own two 1L boots myself. And I can drink them without turning the glass to the side.

I Googled it but all I can find are guys kicking around a funny looking basketball. :sly:

Sorry, I live in Kentucky where we only have one sport. Local bars still have NCAA championship and Final Four (Louisville has to show something) banners hanging up. Even the Mexican restaurant I went to last night had a live band playing classic rock covers instead of World Cup.
