It lapped the Nordschleife in 7 minutes 50 seconds, and went up the Goodwood hill at the 2002 Festival of Speed. I have a rubbish photo of it somewhere.

Linkage.

And again.

My old Motor Trend Mag from like 2002 has this vehicle in it. Damn fast, that could eat the Cayenne for breakfast and, regurgitate it and eat it again for lunch then dinner...

Of course, But the Porsche Cayenne doesn't have a 700hp LMP engine in it, either...

the gold rims dont really match the car. Think of what they can do with that engine in an M5 instead of an X5. (if it can fit)

mid engine x5, that sure is practical

then again, if your gonna go through the trouble of makin a mid engine X5, why not a mid engine M5? i'm sure it's possible with extreme modifications :indiff:

the front engined x5 with the lmp engine isnt any more practical then a mid engine version. a mid engine in this platform would lower the center of gravity a lot and the handling would improve with the difference of where the weight is.

Having the engine in the middle though you will loose the rear seats, thus making it less practical.

but both are just concepts. nither would be made. a mid engine x5 would be similar to the renault avantime with the 1994 f1 engine/chassis.
