Long time reader, first time poster...

If it's okay, I'd like to post the one on one challenges that I do and fail.

Challenge 1

I'm neither fond of the track, nor the car, but here you go... (try as I might, I can't go closer than 2 seconds, so far)

Track: Barcelona
Car: Tuscan Speed 6
Transmission: Manual (I'm using the H-shifter without clutch)
Laps: 1
Cars: 2
Start Grid: 2
Start Type: Grid
Boost: Off
Difficulty: Pro
Opponent: One-make
Car Settings: Stock
Traction Control: 0
Tyres: Sports Hard (stock)
ASM: Off
Countersteering Assist: Off
ABS: Weak

If you can come first, please post the following:
1: Your time
2: If you got the clean race bonus
3: If you're using the clutch
4: Confirm that you were using ALL the settings above

I'd give it a go but I cannot for the life of me get on with manual (in real life, no problem but in GTS....no way! ;) )

Will give it a go today!

Édit: done and first with 50% race and xp bonus. Time 2.16.802

Second try: 2.17.111 with bonusses and 1.6 seconds a head.

First try.

1, Won - 2:14.532
2, No, i rubbed the side of the opponent when passing
3, No, DS4.
4, Yes

2nd try,

1, Won -2:13.413
2, Yes.
3, DS4

You guys are way better than me. Good to know it's possible, and I can keep trying.

Meanwhile... Challenge 2!

This one I did manage to win, but it took me around 60 runs (and lots of cursing). More than I've ever did.

Track: Interlagos
Car: Alpine 1972 A110

Settings as before...

Transmission: Manual (I'm using the H-shifter without clutch)

Start Grid: 2
Start Type: Grid

My time: 2:13.4 (clean)
AI: 2:14.2

Took me ages to figure out to break as straight as possible, and begin steering as late and soft as possible. Turn 1 into the "Senna S" is an infamous bitch, but decelerating into corners 6 and 7 was the biggest challenge.

Hello André, may I suggest to keep a list updated in the first post with the different oneVSone challenges ?

Get cracking on that Tuscan, be gentle on the throttle in the corners. If you want a little extra help you should get off the line in second gear. Gives a small advantage.

Edit: Alpine done on the first run with bonusses and your settings. 2:13:113!
