Well fellows, I've been here for over a year now.

I registered February 10, 2002, having owned GT3 for almost two months (both it and the PS2 were Christmas presents). Back then, it was my one and only PS2 game. It still is.

I came to GTPlanet because, well, it was the first thing that came up on the Google search. :p "Very nice website design", I thought when I came. I then skimmed through the forums... "Hmmm, seem like nice people- There don't seem to be many arguments or senseless posts, and these guys have some pretty genuine humor!". I hung around for about a month before registering.

Since then, it has been quite a ride. A lot of things have happened- HMRCWG reached some pretty significant levels, then was closed. A flurry of people left, some have come back. Loudmusic left for some time, but came back in a month or so (;)). Jordan added the automotive smilies, which quickly became everybody's signature jewelry. People learned to laught at Klostrophobic's humor (:p). I went through a period of time where I made a million and one suggestions for the website to Jordan. Platinum Gamers was formed, and that got a lot of attention here (I have no clue why though). And the clubs, oh the clubs... so many of them. Today, MAZ and The Pass and 'll Foundation remain as the only predominant clubs (and MAZ even has its own forum!). Photoshop competitions became popular, headed mostly by rufrgt_snoopie2001 (I think that's how you spell it).

GTP 5 came along, though a few of us nearly had heart attacks when we found that even the next morning, it still wasn't up. :D A number of big changes were made, all of which, in my opinion, have made the forums even better than before.

And, of course, the people- I have met so many great people at this forum. neon_duke, Der Alta, duo17, quattro_bro, sukerkin, GilesGuthrie, M5Power, rufrgt_snoopie, MazKid, milefile, Pako, and many, many others (sorry Klos, you've been excluded :p). But, most certainly, the biggest contributor has been Jordan- Thanks to him, I have met people, many parts of my livelihood have been changed (morally and ethically, and of course extended computer use!), I can come to a place where I know there'll be good, well-thought out conversations, I've learned a lot about life in general... and, I've learned more than a thing or two about GT3 (naturally!).

So here's to one year at GTPlanet, and many more to come!

Oh, even he doesn't know how to spell it. It's like sixty-three characters long.

That's a fair summary of what's happened in the last year, Sage, although I've just been around for ten months of it. Con-grat-you-lations on a year at the GTP!

No, but thanks.

It's as if I knew I spelled it incorrectly and purposely placed a much larger 'd' in there. Odd. Is it satire in some form? Maybe...

Great summary there, youth, and congratulations on your first year! :D

I was here for a year on the 19th of january.. I made a thread about it (well, it was more about my name change) that didnt get any attention.

And it seems im not widely recognized by anybody. Seriously, how many of you people know me well, if at all? Its odd, considering how long ive been here, but oh well..

Congrats Youth.

Everyone who posts in The Rumble Strip knows wtf you are, or at least they knew wtf gt2_gs was.:p They may not know if you like long walks on the beach and crap, but they know...of you.;)

I'm a GTP n00b. I've been here over a year an a half and I still have not figured out how to quote more than one time in a post. :O

No one knows me. I'm not popular, my threads never have any replies in them, whatsoever the content may be... I even tried to start some Photoshop contests, and i get no recognition!

I'm outta here!!!

I feel the same way as you, I'm NOT(Josh was here:sly:) recognized, but some people do know who I am.

Anyway, back on topic...

Congratulations on a year at GTP Y_C. It's been good having you around. :)

Hey Y_C, you made it to a year! Now lets see if I can do it...

Anyways, congratulations on one year at GTP, and maybe you can make it another.

OA

Yeah congratulations, Youth (or maybe should I just call you cycler?), I think I will have been here for about 1 year on the 14th.

I think.

Hearty best wishes from me, Sage. I don't know exactly when I registered but it will be a few more months before my anniversary yet.

It's been quite a year of growth for GTP, not all of it good, but most of it. Good luck and start thinking about [gasp] a second game!
