Is this the first B-Spec seasonal event? I just saw these, this is awesome! 3 seasonals for your B-Spec drivers!
 
I guess I spotted it early, lol. My guy is doing it now, it's cool getting him to the top of the pack from the back. Finally
 
And I already encountered a problem.

My Ford Focus is at 391 PP, the first B-Spec race is on High Speed Ring with tuning up to 400 PP.

It refuses to let my car enter.

Edit: Now it's accepting cars at 400 PP exact...I had to detune my Toyota FT-86 Concept via the power limiter...
 
These events only have a <5PP difference in the AI cars from what you can use max its all about B-spec level. how low will you dare to go.

The level of Bspec needed to win goes up per event.

Level 10 High speed ring

Level 20 Rome- you are going after a TVR

Level 30 The Tokyo race your up against the BMW McLaren F1 GT race car. Whos doing laps of 1.46.
And got over a half a lap start on you and again is only 5PP lower than the max allowed..

My lvl 24 driver is using the 787B on the 650pp challange , and it went quite well his best lap was 1:39 better than i thought.
 
I restarted the japan event and did not spawn the MF1 got the zonda LM race car instead. so much easier this time, my Honda NSX race car had no problems then.
 
So I've been logging on every night just to get my bonus to 200% for this?

I think my brother has some drying paint he needs me to watch tonight - tough choice.

Wouldn't have minded if they'd posted some A spec as well.

I agree. I love BSpec, but I'm totally happy running BSpec races with my other friends BSpec drivers in the Remote races, I want the Seasonals to be me racing. I wanted a Spa Seasonal Event, so that's why I'm a bit sad at the moment :( Hopefully next week a Spa Seasonal.

I really hate B-Spec, it's just not racing. Seasonal events seem to be going backwards as of late.
 
I was rather shocked to hear of a B-Spec Seasonal. In my Gran Turismo blog, I questioned the possibility of a B-Spec Seasonal. Sure enough, we got one! Now I can almost sort of ride this wave to boost up the experience of my B-Spec racers.

I made history by winning a B-Spec Seasonal event. I didn't know what the hell I was thinking giving my B-Spec racers an untuned Spoon CR-Z at High-Speed Ring. I then took a vastly tuned Mazda 6... STILL didn't get the job done. So I moved on to Rome. I took the best car in my garage and in terms of Performance Points to [Neo] Rome Circuit. Failed badly in whatever car I was using. I then decided to tune my Acura NSX RM to meet regulations for the Rome Circuit. Since then, my B-Spec team won both times with my NSX. The real heartbreaker for me was the Tokyo R246 event. I had brought my Pagani Zonda R to the race for my B-Spec racers to use. Sadly, the Pagani Zonda LM in the event was too far ahead for my Zonda R to pass. My B-Spec racer could only manage 2nd, 13 seconds behind.


None of my B-Spec racers are even past Level 20. Highest of my crew is one who is at Level 17. I can use this time to upgrade my B-Spec racers and then use them to return to the in-game B-Spec races. Take advantage of this Seasonal to boost your B-Spec racers. Even more so if you have the 200&% bonus going!
 
It was fun. So often I used overpowered car for b spec to win. Now my bobs can prove themselves while I yell overtake over the radio. N. Oshima did not fail me.

I enjoyed it, at least it gave me the chance to watch my B-Spec Stig drive around.:)

On the third race, The two rabbits in the game were the Ford GT40 LM race car and the Ferrari 330 P4. I used the new RX7 TC, and easily won it, thought the GT40 put up a real good fight, but you can't beat 975 Kg tied to 641 HP.
 
Been there, done it.

BTW, did you know that when you take your Bob offline, the game automatically cashes you in, and multiplies it by your bonus % (XP too). This was on funds won well before V2.0 came out.

There's a possibility that this will only work on pre 2.0 funds, if remote racing automatically applies the bonus at win time, although that would mean the game would have to check which update you won the money under in the first place, which seems unlikely.

Mine got number one is 400pp I won gold the car is FT-86, 2010 and so easy overtake from 12th.

3rd yeah 6th place the car i was played is Nissan Skyline R32 TC.

Anyone can suggestion on 3rd track on Online B Challenge?

Used a Nissan R92CP detuned to 650PP, level 38 Bob. Won by less than 3 secs. :nervous:
 
The best I've done with my level 25 Bob is 2nd place on the 650pp challenge and gold on the 400pp (4th on the 500pp race :nervous: ). It's fun to do as I haven't yet ventured online with any of my Bobs to race. The 200% helps, of course. :D

I wondered if they were ever going to have a B Spec seasonal. I hope they have more, but not too many more. :)
