I am a clean driver but sometimes a little bump or penalty happens. I've been noticing sometimes I'll win but get 400 credits and others like 6-8000?? For the same distance races? Anyone else notice?
I have noticed something similar. However from my experience it seems to have more to do with the car you win with vs what your up against.
I remember one guy keep cleaning up in a R8 or R10 racing against small capacity four cylinder cars. He keep complaining about hardly winning any money (he eventually left), where as even in third place with my civic ( I think) I was winning over 3000 credits. We are talking about a race with about five racers.
I therefore think it is dependent on how big your engine is and/or how many cylinders you have in comparison to the field. PD's way of trying to get people to mix it up. Its like you can keep racing in "scrubs" cars if you want but you wont earn squat and fair enough since you are using a vehicle that belongs in a higher class.
As far as I know, I beleive it's just an online bug...
I have been in Nascar Daytona lobbies and raced all night with 10-15 other racers, and I normally finish in the top 5.
But every now and then (about once a night), instead of 20k creds and 11k exp, I get 400cr and 100 exp...and it happens for the entire 16-racer room, no matter how many laps there were...
