Another thing to remeber is every corner on the track is not a passing opertunity. There are some corners on a track that just are not good for passing. unless there has been some sort of error on the lead cars part, if i think it would slow both cars down dramaticlly i wont pass there. The fast left hander at suzuka just before the the s-ess is a good exsample. you have to use the whole track to take that turn at race speeds.

Also in my opinion if you are not along side a driver BEFORE he/she hits the brakes i dont think you should pass. The lead driver has now hit his/her brakes at a point where he/she needs to follow there line through the corner. If you are alongside him/her say on the inside and he/she dosnt brake early (or late depending) so he/she can take the outside line, well thats there fault.

Yeah lunging down the inside of the corkscrew at laguna seca is NOT an appropriate passing zone unless of course a mistake by the lead car..
Getting a huge draft then just lunging down the inside of someone and pushing them into the sandtrap is definitely not great online etiquette - You know who you are.

One that comes to mind for me is the 1st turn on London. You're more likely to be able to pass if you brake early there! But I've occasionally seen people trying to pass by late braking there - and totally failing to achieve their objective... they wind up put-putting by the outside wall up on the curb while the early brakers sneak around past them on the inside.

My bspec always seems to do that in muscle cars.
In an online race, wouldn't that give you a penalty if penalty is on?
