Another thing to remeber is every corner on the track is not a passing opertunity. There are some corners on a track that just are not good for passing. unless there has been some sort of error on the lead cars part, if i think it would slow both cars down dramaticlly i wont pass there. The fast left hander at suzuka just before the the s-ess is a good exsample. you have to use the whole track to take that turn at race speeds.
Also in my opinion if you are not along side a driver BEFORE he/she hits the brakes i dont think you should pass. The lead driver has now hit his/her brakes at a point where he/she needs to follow there line through the corner. If you are alongside him/her say on the inside and he/she dosnt brake early (or late depending) so he/she can take the outside line, well thats there fault.
