Online issues - I need help

I am in need of help!

Everytime I try to log in to online games it fails to load and takes me back to my page.

What am I doing wrong?

Is my end or do others have this problem?

Please Help!!!!

I am having a similar issue.

I can access online, select my race, and am then presented with the start screen from which I can choose to race/practice/etc.

If I choose practice, I get straight onto the track.
If I choose race, I'm taken to another screen with a turning globe and a status bar that fills up and then restarts.

The most times I've waited for the status bar is 3 times around (i.e. fills up 3 times, then back to 0).

Sorry this sounds vague, but I've got the Japanese version, and whilst I can read some of the instructions, I can't understand everything.

Is this normal - how long should you wait for a race to begin?

ps - I have no trouble downloading the updates (first time every time!) so I don't think it is a connection issue with my hardware.

Any ideas please?

how long should you wait for a race to begin?

it depends on the players connected to the same event, if you're alone you'll wait a really long time
try online events with at least one guy waiting to join in quickly.

Thanks for your help that it does not cover my error, I have detailed below the error message I am getting.

Failed (in a yellow triangle)

Failed to get online event information. Returning to my page.

I get this screen after clicking on online from my page.

So far in 3 weeks I have managed 3 online races, it really is getting frustrating now.

I know its not my connection as I can access PS Store and run online updates no problem, but I may have a setting wrong, however I have no idea what it could be.

Any help greatly appreciated.

This only guess work But have you tried changing the UPnP settings in the options menu of the game ?
