yeh that's what i was thinking, maybe the forum doesn't emphasis the importance of the rules? or peope are joining gt5net without reading the rules?

i've had races with around 5 GT5net racers, 3 have been bad 2 have been good.

I don't remember names, but in two weeks of playing I have encountered several GT5net racers and only one of them (Saturday at night) was a cheater. I thought about noting his name, because I know Wayne reads and posts here, but in the heat of racing I forgot.

But, eitherwise, so far so good. There's a german tag (GTRP I think) and an italian one (don't remember how it is, but it's the one "Pino" uses) and I've no complaints from either.

And I'm proud to tell you that I never had an incident with someone from GTP, tagged or not. Well, the truth is that most are a lot faster than me. My best lap so far is 2.18 (SIXAXIS, Auto transmission) ... :indiff: ... here's to hoping that when I get the chance to setup a wheel (and use manual) I can shave off another second.

However, 2.15 is just ... awesome, I don't think I'll ever get such laptimes :)
 
i'm on london 500pp if anybody wants to race. will be there xx.30, xx.45. xx.00 then need to go after that.
 
Theres actually 3 Italian ones (GTIRN, TeamGT and GTExD). Then theres GTRP (German), GT5net (French) and then GTNDC (international? I'm not sure, but Sphinx, Rudi and others are part of that) and GTC (again, not sure, but Wayne is with that one).

are you talking about free run times or in race times?

Nice overtaking on the outside there Timppaq 👍. Going sideways and all... I hoped to be able to overtake the impreza in that corner, but he didn't run as wide as I thought he would so I didn't have enough room on the inside, had to go onto the grass a little and backed off.

Apologies with the lag, my upload speed must be suffering a little today. Thats why I joined the xx.15 race 5-10 seconds later than normal to let someone else host.

I was having fun in the Z4 @ london. Hanging on to 2nd place in the last race i had, untill skills91 in his black evo punted me on the last lap, last turn. :grumpy:
Back tomorrow when i can use my wheel. 👍

I think Stotty might be faster then me, cause he was just gone this last race. Problem is I was stuck behind a grey evo the hole race, so I couldn't try to go after him (Stotty).

Was that the race I was in, close (so close in fact, I could see the bolts on Timppaq's license plate) on the back straight, before I got rammed on 130R by that red Impreza?

BTW, later in the race he tried the same stunt with Truth123 on Spoon, but just took himself out, so he quits. What a douche... :rolleyes:

yeh, i've only really noticed this today. i will check again tomorrow, hopefully i get quite a quick crowd. before 6.54's could be done now most of them are 7.00's or just above..maybe i wasn't drive the best today or i had racers who just parked on the side and gave up.

edit...after looking at some of the videos that GTRP-RudiRaser added in the Truth123 thread it looks like i do pull out some sub 7 mins :lol:, i can't see it but it looks like 6.56.

:) i've raced you and you're too quick not to dip into the sub 7's!

Just ran a 6'57.0 leading from start to finish with a 6.5 gap to 2nd and a big mistake on the 3rd lap, so easily doable.
 
Nice race, Stotty. I enjoyed hunting you down :D. But i was already doomed at the start cause you started first and I was 7th or something. :p

Edit: even worse now: started dead last.

Nothing satisfies me more than chasing you and Truth123 down in 3rd.:bowdown:
The results screen was the first time I've seen an all-RWD podium finish for a long time.
 
Just had one of my most enjoyable races ever with sinsemila, ended up 1st because he spun on purpose on the finish line and I didn't react quickly enough to slow down, but the race itself was awesome. Thanks for the great time. 👍
 
sinsemila is up there as one of the better NSX drivers around I reckon, he's not quite Truth123 but then again, not even the Stig can keep up with him?!?

I was sweating keeping up with him, but managing it, and even tried to overtake a few times, but without success.
During about 95% of the race, our cars were less than 15m apart, and many corners and sections we were almost touching each other, truly great stuff, made my GT5P day. :D
 
Yes, I saw Simsemila also... 👍 👍 Dolp, If you were aiming at xx:15.. your clock is 5secs ahead... I jumped the start button at xx:14:55..lol... :)

I'm gonna jump on for a few laps on PP600 in a few mins, little warning in advance as I haven't raced online in weeks and might be in the way with some seriously sloppy driving! I will move aside if you are faster thats for sure .. any contacts will be unintentional due to my crappy brakes and lack of being in the mix ;) ... cyas in there :cheers:
