I just saw you Ron! You were just ahead of my white Evo X at the start of Suzuka - in another Evo X - but then as the race was about to start your car disappeared. I guess you lost the connection to the host.

Had some fun racing in full field Suzuka p700 races; there's always wreckers, but I managed to get to the top places of the race a couple of times. It was great racing behind and along side GTP_vanuber7: very clean racing from both of us; it was just a pity you were having a bit of trouble with your S2000. I also saw GTP_southslider which I believe was second in a race I could have won if only I hadn't lost it in the last lap it at spoon - some guy in a tuned clio that had bumped into my car a couple of times won that one.
Been to Daytona road too but there weren't may people around- seven or eight cars, tops; a guy by the name of musien51 in an underpowered audi kept blocking and bumping into my Evo X but his tricks never payed and I eventually won 4 races in a row by 8-9 seconds: no competition! Gona try it again now to see if there are better racers around...

Yeah I've had a few errors tonight .. but I keep trying and getting a few good races in between the server errors đź‘Ť I'm back there now for an hour before I go to bed if you fancy a few races :cheers:
 
A quick two flashes of the brake light for now on will indicate that we know each other. I don't have GTP tags, so remember if I am in front and quickly flash my brake lights twice. We're GTP members.
 
I want to apologize to Misterweary and anyone else involved! for being at a snails pace at the spoon turn and causing a massive collision :dunce: I was in a battle with a racer in an elise and we made contact and he went offtrack so I slowed down to wait ... not thinking about the traffic coming behind and I caused one hell of a mess :dopey: Sorry to anyone involved in that race but I will always wait for someone when we have rubbed paint in a decent battle for track position and it goes pearshaped for the other driver especially when they done the same and waited for me the race after it, which makes my actions more warranted But!! ... It was a silly place to slow down full stop! :ouch: I thought it best to explain my actions :dunce:

Hope it doesn't put you off racing me again guys :cheers:
 
lol...no dramas Ron, these things happen đź‘Ť It's the idiots that push you off track as you overtake them that ruin it. I think I'm gonna have to de-tune the GT-R or pick another car so I can get further up the grid...fighting through the toolbags is painful! Bring on private rooms đź‘Ť

I see a member called huHuAT viewing this thread now .. I'm wondering if you are you the same person who was kicking my ass in that GTR at Suzuka? If so! ... damn fine racing mate and total respect at your driving etiquette đź‘Ť Good clean racing all the way, I need to make my EVO a tad faster to keep up with you on our next encounter :cheers:

hehe i was in that race as well, i saw you were slowing down because of a crash but couldnt stop in time and lost control of the gtr trying to brake in that fast right turn, however - it was definitely a fun race :)

good races! nice driving, enjoyed a lot.

same to you, very nice and clean racing, i had great fun today and enjoyed every race we were driving close :) hope to see you guys soon, also raced a few with sphinx before. very good driver as well.
 
Sorry about the underbraking.. First time using the R8...still learning its capabilties.

Oh and Fyshokid, is the idea to change the schedule everytime the online events are updated or every seven days?:)
 
I'm online, (waits for groans of disappointment to cease :sly:) which scheduled event would you like to meet at?
 
What aids do most of you use in the 700pp races?

ASM, TCM, ABS?

Do you also use simulation (controler settings) in the options on " My page"?

Nice race, there were some clean people out there then.
I loved the 2nd race I had with Sjaak, that was great đź‘Ť You were still in the Mine's, I backed out of numerous overtaking maneouvers so to get some realistic racing. There was no way I was going side-by-side into a high speed corner, that would be bananas :sly: All 3 races I was in we had at least 2 GTP players on the podium, that was good too. FASTEST_GT_RACER was fast considering he was in a tuned Viper. Anyways, thanks for the racing.đź‘Ť

Edit: kikie, I use no driving aids except ABS which I leave at 1.đź‘Ť I don't know what that controller setting you mentioned is.
 
Just to say that you won't be seeing me much online for the next week.
I really have to practise on GT4 for the upcoming lan :)
 
HSR 700 PP race is up in 10mins as per schedule guys, I'll be there if anyone else wants to come.
 
Some good racing going on at the moment, pity we haven't finished a race yet because of host issues đź‘Ž Sorry about the punt from behind GTPro, you just appeared as I was coming round the bend :scared:

Yeah, I wondered if you were waiting, with a 700 PP car I always start last pretty much. I came very close to ramming you at full speed, there were 2 people spinning behind (one was probably the host, which is why he quit) and I couldn't see anything for the smoke. Nice car by the way ;) I'm half done tuning mine, still gotta work the suspension.

Thanks, its a bit tail-happy on pro physics. Hopefully you wil put yours up in TLD when its done?
 
I'm done for now but that was fun, it's great to be racing people who I know have no malicious intent when on the road.

Just as an idea...I know Fyshokid has put some good work into the schedule but in all honesty I don't enjoy a lot of them. What are the chances of GTP'ers simply "claiming an event". So all GTP'ers if they want to find other GTP'ers simply go into the Suzuka 700PP??? From my observation it's the most interesting and fun track anyway??? I hope I'm not stepping on toes by making that suggestion but it would mean you wouldn't have to worry about what time you were on?

I think that is a good idea. That event seems to suit GTP'rs style of racing the best anyway.

Yep, it will definitely reach TLD, and what's more I just tuned the suspension, what a difference it makes! Even when the tail does slide out you can finally keep the power on and it likely correct itself. I'll send you a PM when I post it, I'm really proud of it. Running within a second of my Evo X/Tuned at Suzuka.

Not just 1 race, but exclude a couple, and make more 700 PP races than others. Get rid of Daytona Speedway once and for all, but I like racing on different tracks. And I like driving the slower 600 PP cars too.
