Not had the pleasure of his company as yet.

Is anyone actually racing Daytona Rd Pro? As I have been there for several races and not seen a single GTPer.

I also get the odd error, sometimes it will get to joining race and then hang there before getting the error message. Always works second time round. Not very handy if you are tyring to meet up with fellow GTP'ers.

Yep its been a pretty bad night for crappy drivers it seems! ... I just had about 4 or 5 races where Hairy Curry was up to his usual crappy tactics .. The last race he braked right in front of me at the start line so I just rolled to the side of the track to see what his passtime was that I don't normally see because I'm actually racing!

anyway this fool starts ramming my car and being a total knobhead constantly trying to show who's boss :dunce: anyway it only confirms Hairy Curry that you are retarded buddy and I really feel sorry for you ... poor dumb bastard that you are :indiff: 👎

If it helps any, I know the guy. And he isn't a kid...he's just a bit unstable :(.
He took me out a few times similar to you and I just sent him a message over PSN asking him why he was doing it and if he would stop.
He replied saying 'sorry' and told me a bit about himself and why he does things like this (I don't know whether to believe him or not, but I don't think he'd make stuff like that up). Anyway, he hasn't bothered me since, even when we have raced together. (Actually, he's not that bad a driver when he's in the mood).
He's a big GTA fan and will likely lose interest in GT next Tuesday.

I'm online now, will go on fuji f for some battles and then around 2 at night suzuka

that means around 6:45 - 7:00 PM compared with my post time ( at suzuka)
 
GTP_JASE72 (GB) was the first one of GTP here that i really met on track in the first two races i did, good driver Jase:tup:, with an R8 in second and me in first. Second race he ended up at the back pack, probably because there were two push'n racers out there... Anyways i'm now heading for suzuka, Anybody wanna join??
 
Now I'm officially in GTP PSN Registry: GTP_Fournier :). I hope to see many GTP drivers. Usually I race Fuji and Suzuka 700PP. See you soon :)
 
Had a few cool races with Sphinx and Superwally tonight 👍 Cheers guys! fast respectable drivers as always :cheers:
 
Wicked consistency from Mr. P and Sphinx toninght. Also battled with Cudadude (and others) again, and a non-gtp'r in a Lotus who was extremely fast and clean, I believe he was a German named vagelis. First person I've seen besides a GTP'r who has it sorted out.

Too bad we had so many host quits, I lost you guys after awhile.
 
I usually race between 7:30pm to about 10:30pm during the weeknights (Central Standard Time)
^^ Have raced against you J-Pap a couple times.
 
I'm done for the night, but on the weekends you might find me at that time. I'll keep you in mind for those weeknights that I don't feel like going to bed, though!
 
I'll be home in 30 mins and will be on the PS3 at about 3.30pm.

Same?!? Am I supposed to do something to reset the online events? I've closed the game and opened it again?
 
Lazy bastards. Couldn't they have at least made some races different?
I really want to see a online event that is restricted beyond just PP

👍 Still trying to sort the gearbox on that R8. As for the second race well lets just say it was a little more like Full Contact Karate :crazy:
 
Raced on Suzuka late last night and met a number of drivers sporting their GTP tags. 👍

It was very refreshing to see so many clean drivers. 👍👍

That was my first really decent go at online racing in Prologue. I was hit a few times, but the overall experience was much better than it was for my first few goes.

I used my R8 most of the evening and, as it only has 680points, I never started lower than 2nd, and was on pole more often than not. I managed to win a couple of races too. 👍

It was good to see so many GTP nametags and it was good to know that anyone using a GTP tag wasn't just going to drive into you. I also saw a smattering of tags from other boards, so you knew they were going to be decent drivers too.

Indeed, it feels very calming knowing you're surrounded by GTP'rs.

For me racing with this tag gives a feeling to me as in "don't crash because you're racing in GTP's name here, keep it clean,...." It's a bit psychological i guess:tup:

I had not tried online racing until last night and I have a couple of comments/questions that I'd like to make. I would like to state that I am hooked up via wireless, and after racing a bit I noticed that my signal strength was only at about 51%.

I only tried a few races in one of the entry level events at the High Speed Ring, but what I was observing was nothing like playing the game offline. Everything was really jerky and cars were instantly darting left/right, flying past me while going sideways, and otherwise....behaving quite strangely. I cannot believe that members of this forum are enjoying online racing if they are having these kinds of issues, and that therefore, there must be problems with my setup or connection to the internet.

Do you suppose that things would improve if I hard-wired the PS3 to my router? Are you all getting a similar visual experience as if you were racing on your own...offline? Any response would be greatly appreciated because from what I experienced yesterday, I have no intention of getting serious about online racing.
 
Very true speedthrill:tup: I backed out of a lot of potential passes last night out of extreme caution.

Raced with M00ndancer around Daytona RC. Very smooth and fair driver who obviously uses a wheel very well:tup: Very close finish on the last race where you just pipped me to the post:dunce:

Then raced with GTP_Ron and GTP_tex777 at suzuka which was great:) Luckily tex hosted all the races so we could be assured of getting to the chequered flag:lol:

Apologies to tex when I suddenly came back onto the track on the last of the esses and got in your way:guilty: Most of the time I was behind you due to me using the Amuse 350z. I was trying the max downforce setup which had me flying round the esses but then I was eaten up down the straights:lol:
