Many, many great races last night, wish I could have stayed longer.

Donk, the error was all mine, that's why I slowed-3 laps is apparently one too many for my attention span.

If my erratic driving screwed up anyone's race, I apologize, I'm just not very consistent.

That particular race you seemed to be dangleing me the carrot for 2 laps making me think I had a chance of catching you and then on the last lap you pulled a 2 second lead on me.:bowdown:

lol...they may have explained why you were slowing so much, I went to take you on the outside of a corner and scraped the right hand side of your Corvette man...I'm insured though so don't worry :sly: 👍

Oh great, so you mean when that happns my car stays on track making me look dodgy? It was one where all of a sudden all the other cars become driverless and roll off the track, then about 15-20sec later it tells me I was disconnected.:grumpy: I'll just quit when that happens in the future, try and make sure my car, driverless, doesn't mess up someone's race.

Sorry about that last game folks, after the bump from Mr.BMW I got a phone call so I thought I'd sit out till the next one...bring it on though, these races are good fun, Vroomfundel and twisteddeeds are really good!

[EDIT] lol...ironically while I sit here writing this, fafa28 (the rogue BMW driver) has come off track to see why I'm sitting there doing nothing :) [/EDIT]

Yeah I seen that.:sly: Bit of a friendly how are you? I'm a bit annoyed that I just now I decide to sacrifice some turn for some drive, get 1sec faster by that tiny little setup change, and don't have time to do any real racing. I had one race, and to make matters even more aggrovating, my Corvette can't even keep up on the bloody straights even if I have a better corner exit than AWD.:mad: I'm starting a thread on this, AWD has somehow got better cornering and better straight line speed. That really annoys me. If I could go as fast down the straights I have full confidence my Corvette would be a front runner.

i've raced him before and he is mostly clean. if i remember correctly he zig zags on the straights but when up close to overtake he doesn't block. he might not do this but i definately remember him being pretty clean.

Race earlier tomorrow and I will. About 2-3hrs earlier should do it. I want to give my Corvette another run with the improvement I made.
 
First pic posted with my name on it at the finish, and it's exactly the one where I had one of my crappiest results ever.

It was all fine until Spoon on the final lap, when I was leading with a 1sec. advantage over the approaching R8, but I got my right wheels a bit too much outside the kerb and ended up losing it (wouldn't have happened with a RWD car... :rolleyes:).

Then braking for the chicane (after being passed by everyone), I forgot my tires were still a bit dirty and screwed up again, after which I decided to stroll in 2nd gear until I crossed the line... :D (playing it safe)
 
Don't worry Beerz, it's the first time my PSN ID shows in a pic also, and last night was one to forget. I had come from a party (one of my closest friends just turned 50 years old) and I guess I wasn't in a proper condition to race. :dopey:

Cashwars even nursed me around Suzuka ... thanks man. I'm not an ace, but I want you to know I'm better than THAT :ouch:

apologies to twisteddeeds?? when you braked to avoid Mr Volcano, caught me unaware and i braked but not in time and hit the back of you, i pulled over as i'd had enough, i think i had one decent race the rest i'd been bumped swiped etc

Don't really rember what race it was, but might have been the case... Too much money, you know what I mean. 7 or 8 (don't remember exactly) F2007 in the garage.... lol. 👍


I'll be back for some more, but there is one thing I'll do before that.. I think you'll notice it..

I guess it needs to be tuned in a certain way.. and steering wheel and a cockpit doesn't do any harm I guess.. ;)

Thunderstorm here, so I'll take a little pause... don't want to riks my dear ps3.. lol.

Well i don't have a steering wheel so i guess all i can do is look for a good tune and practice with my sixaxis :)

Yeah, there was just enough space for me to squeeze through, it wasn't until after that i accidentally bumped a yellow Ferrari off the track so i had to wait and from there my race went downhill :banghead:
