Online Mileage?

My question is, does going online gain your car mileage?

(Would be a silly question) but as online gameplay changes in most games, I cant imagion it would be able to keep car mile count going online... anyone know for sure?

No, it doesn't go up.

I did an 11 lap race at Laguna Seca online in a Corvette ZR1 I drove for the first time. Checked the car in my garage afterwards and it still said zero miles.

ah thats well good, because mileage will spoil trade value on some cars at least now I can show them off/test them before i trade them

I was under the impression it did, and my "profile" mileage went up. But I looked and after a lot of racing on the ring in the past few weeks in my GTR it only has 500 miles on it, theres just no way thats possible. So apparently it doesn't.

I have a NASCAR that I only race online at Daytona, never driven it offline, and it has over 500 miles on it when I look at it in my garage.

Online FREE RUN doesn't count miles
Online RACES do count miles
but it can take a while for the miles to be updated after you return from an online race
