online opponent's car doing ping pong

Hello,
i search a bit and doesn't find out my answer. When im racing online, others player's cars around me move around me like ping pong balls, going in hazardous directions. What is the cause of this ???

Disagree. 99% of the time my rooms are totally lag free.

To the OP, If the car "Ping Pong" happens in all the rooms you enter, it's definitely a connection issue on your side.

Are you on WiFi?

If yes, that's the first problem.

If not, run a speedtest on your internet connection.



If the speedtest comes back slow, your only fix will be to upgrade your ISP.

OK then, in that case I'll say SOME lobbies aren't kind with connections. And yes, wired is cleaner, though usually my Wi-Fi is alright.

Make sure to clear your system cache before online racing. Its in the gt menu > options > online > clear system cache.

so i will change my connection method, and cleared the cache.

I have Comcast internet and I've really only seen one person who's car always ping ponged around the track. It's not his fault but it was very annoying because every time I tried to pass him he rammed me off the track I've raced with him for awhile so it's cool and it's funny too to watch the replays.
