Online Racing - Production cars only

How would I go about stopping people using Race, Rally or Touring cars in my online lobbys ?

I don't think you can ... I think you can only limit HP or set it so people all have to use one specified car

You may be able to do it with a weight restriction as RM cars have full weight reduction. Not fool proof but better than nothing.

Thats true thats not a bad idea, if he takes an average of weight to hp of some popular standard cars (bit much I know but still) that could work really well!

Only way is to police what people are using by stating in the title of your lobby ie 600hp 1100kg "no race/rally cars" If people ignore, boot them out.

This is because there arent really designated classes for the cars build into thew car data itself.

The events in GT rely upon PD defined lists of cars as opposed to saying any car of 'X category' can race, with the exception of perhaps FWD/RWD/MR events and Turbo events.

I want this option as well!!! I host production car only rooms and I get tired of telling people 'No race cars...' in my rooms and still people find a way to switch cars at the last second to ensure their win with a race car.

Put "production cars only" in your room title, if someone chose to ignore it, kick them.

It is not so easy to kick people because the race i organise i also run in and there is a qualifying which i try to do as well so if someone joins after i start qualifying then i cannot kick them
