The screen on those debit things is replaceable--it's like a $5 item

That's pretty sweet because you don't have to worry about figuring out what button goes where too.

Driftster
reason you go through so many mice?

cause you're spending 30 bucks..

my microsoft wireless has been good for 3 years...works off 2 AAA batteries...has no "on off switch" and i've changed the batteries maybe 3 times max....still as good as new.

 Or maybe because I use mine a lot more than you.

Debit and Debut are totally different things. Driftster, try to spell correctly when debating and stuff. I know it was probably a typo, but make sure anyways.

kthnx.

Maybe it's because your mouse is all 90's rollerball. HAR!

:odd:

Hey...brokeback samurai, I appologize for hitting ONE key to the right of the intended key on a POS mac keyboard when used to avg PC one's at 90 wpm.........

WHOOPS!!!!

and Vip....how many hours of use do you put into your mouse a day? AVG

Brokeback samurai? Are you calling me gay or something? That's not cool. Buttgum.

I dunno but this mouse last about a Month regardless of how much use. That's a hell of a lot more than I could ever get out of one AAA. I think I'd be going though a AAA a day or week. :scared:

maybe i got lucky with mine...but seriously...constant running ...2 AAA's..(most of the replacements were with used batteries from the TV remotes)...but yeah lasts FOREVER...and i've dropped chairs on it..it's sat in dirt for months.....
i've used it on 3 PC's so far..my old gateway..my laptop..now my new PC..

I had this one before my current one which took two AAA and it wouldn't last very long at all, someone on GTP said they were getting a month out of one batt. use and to that I say my ass... at least for the amount of time I was getting. The only reason I chucked it was the left clicker started to malfunction just like all the ones before it. I was pissed about that because I payed $40 for it. So far this current one has been pretty sold beside the paint rubbing off on the clicks. :knock on wood:

I've had many from all different companies and I think it comes down to the mouse not a particular company...

Great see what you guys did... My mouse just died for absolutely no reason at all. :irked: j/k

It's because you're mashing the trigger button so hard while playing fear with them fat ass fingers.

 Dood, that's funny... but do you really want me to have to say the comeback I have ready to post?

Mice: Logitech G5 or G7 (Wireless G5 without a rubber grip).

I have a G5 and if you are a gamer, you NEED this. You will wonder how the hell you ever lived without it once you try it. On the fly DPI change, adjustable weight cartridge, programmable buttons, etc.

 Just so we're sorta heading back on topic my friend recently got the Logitech diNovo for probably $199? or so but I'm sure after me showing him this Optimus he's regretting it.

Haha I know a guy who bought a G5, pretty good gamer. He said that weight thing was absolute ****, said it was just a pointless. He actually returned it after two days because he hated it so much and went back to his MX518. :\

This keyboard looks awesome, however I'll probably just stick with a regular keyboard...This would be way too expensive when it comes out.

He made a very unintelligent move then.

The weight thing isn't all that too great, but it DOES help between when your gaming and just doing general things. I like a heavier weight when I'm just surfing the web for more precision but al ighter weight in most games for more agility. The On-The-Fly DPI change can be rigged for 5 different DPI settings. Mine are: Low- 800 DPI (use when sniping in a FPS game or such) Medium-1000 DPI (what I almost always use) High - 2000 DPI (used only when precision counts).

This mouse doesn't randomly make the cursor jump to the top or bottom of your screen in the middle of a game either, which many optical mice do. It also features side scrolling, the handy, yet removable, weight feature, the extra side buttons and other programmable buttons, and the easy-use left and right click buttons. If you game, you will not find a mouse better than this. The wireless one just can't compare (G7). This mouse combined with that Optimus is guarunteed pure ownage in a game :D.
