SS tracks look like if they were in Japan.

High speed Ring was originally supposed (in GT1) to be a loose recreation of Fuji Speedway:

Incredible. I always thought that track was inspired in American locations. How I was't able to make the connection, even in GT4 where you had the older versions of the track.

Trial Mountain is in the UK as far as I'm concerned. It was, after all, the location of the UK Nationals in GT2.

By the same logic, Deep Forest is in Germany.

Apricot Hill, while not in this version of GT (sadly), will always be an American track to me. Recall that guy who did an incredibly in-depth project and found that the topography matched a region in Ohio.

Totally agree on that.

I have always assumed that Grand Valley is in the USA. For some reason Autumn Ring always puts me in mind of Japan.

Prove your statement and show me that monkey!

The monkey has been there since GT1. In GT2 or GT3(I don't remember), the monkey was standing and had another small monkey besides it. Since GT4 and GT5, he (or she) is sitting down like the old days again.
