Slightly off the race line haha

What a noob ! That was a big "oh **** moment , thought I was going to take a few with me ! No idea what I was thinking but once the tyres hit the grass its all passenger ! Good pics mate , I never stopped to notice the flowers at Fuji before ! 👍

haha i watched the replay spinner looked so funny how you just braked after taking off, i actualy thought it was lag at start as i saw you car move so i didnt need to swerve and then saw it stop , but after watching the replay LOL .

Bloody Barbie , probably checkin his hairstyle in the mirror instead of watching the clock ! (all good Wilco , **** hgappens mate) Yeah , I crapped myself , on the gas full noise , Wilcos bumper getting closer and closer. Watching the replay now , I missed hitting him by a fair bit but its hard to judge that in bumper cam. Ah well , sort of set the mood for my race last night. I made heaps of mistakes and despite doing reasonably consistent laps and only 2 pitstops , couldn't really make much of it. Looks like most of you had a great race but.

Thanks all for the whole series , Its been brilliant. Had a million laughs along the way too. Cheers guys.

Well, almost all the rest, I was at 33.370...
But I see exactly what your getting at, it was super close in terms of best lap times (except for Taital's scorcher! ) So from that we can conclude that the tyre regulations worked extremely well. 👍

Was that lap on mediums Taital? If so that's insane! But still, great race pace if it was on softs 👍

Had a good race, got minor damage from Waynz at the start, but then I had a good battle with him and then Rusty,
and then at the end a very close finish with Stig on super worn tyres

Such a fragmented series for me, 6 of the races I either didn't start or didn't finish, but there were some cool moments.
Well done everyone, good racing!

Looking forward to the next series, especially not having to tune.

Yeah my time was on softs, it was over a second quicker then I've ever been there and no draft, I think I was doing high 33s and 34s on mediums in the 8 odd laps of good grip it offers lol

I think one of the biggest improvements I saw was Spin_doctor, well done mate. Wagon Wheel also lifted his game towards the end of the series, good **** mate. Big congrats to 'princess' also, being the youngest one in the series and coming in second - good stuff.
On another note, my steering wheel shat itself last night (logitech GT driving force) so I HAD to buy another one today I had a look at the G27 ($499) and the same logitech GT ($189).. In my ametuer opinion, I cant see why the G27 is so much more expensive (other than a few bits of metal and a 3rd pedal) when the Logitech GT force has an adjustment nob which lets you adjust brake balance, traction and 4wd on the fly.. Anyone care to explain?

The difference isn't in looks but in feel. While the knob is nice to have you can easily map any of the buttons in the G27 to mimic the knob. The main thing that sets the 2 wheels apart are "better control". The wheel provides better feedback than the GT Force which gives you better control of the car and more feel. The peddles are more heavy duty than the GT Force and as with the wheel provide more feel and a higher range of throttle control. If you ever get the chance to use a G25 or G27 you will understand that the price tag while high is definitely worth it if you want more feel and control.


Now on to business..

The list above that "Bomber" was kind enough to write up shows the winners and their prize cash pool. So what i need is for those that have their names up there to send me VIA PSN which car they want within that prize pool. As i can only send 1 car day it will take time to get your car so be patient.

Now i have that out of the way. I need something from all the drivers that participated in the IS-F series and that will be joining the next series to give me their top 5 tracks of choice (post it in this forum) for the next series.

5) Autumn Ring (Full) ... I usually would hate racing at this track as I struggle to tune for it, but with tuning out of the picture I actually don't mind the layout. 👍

You were always running up at the pointy end. Glad to have you as a team mate.

To all: It was a great series, a good bunch of guys to race with. Lots of good racing, but also fun and laughs!!

There was plenty of banter and back and forth chat, a few times after races there's be some bickering, sometimes we got a little dillusional but we'd quickly sort ourselves out and get back to good racing.

Looking forward to the next series.

Rota - you still haven't listed the final points in the White Knight Challenge . . . I'm guessing Lost was the front runner there.

It is a good street circuit, I would like to know why everyone loves Monaco but hates Madrid...? It is technical, yes, but very rewarding if you get it right and no more difficult to drive a fast lap than any other street circuit...

If everyone is so against it, then it won't matter that I voted for it because just one vote will not be enough to have it selected anyway... So why all the concern...

I'll try my best to explain. It's basically a relay race between teams. The host organizes a corner on the track to be the 'tag spot' where you give your team mate the nudge start onto his lap. Depending on how many drivers there are to how big/ many teams there are. Also how many laps get completed overall as each team player does a lap.

To makes the relay more interesting you can also make it so each team driver runs a different drivetype. Each individual team decides who races in what drive type and also who starts the race off!
Honestly Tag race's are so much fun, as it relies on the speed of the whole team, you truly race as a team...not everyman for himself so to speak.👍
