This actually sucks for GTP in general. Out of the 96,059 members...it was bad enough that active members number is maybe around 1,000. Now to find out that some of those active members are just users goofing around with mulitple accounts.

Well, it's not like they're goofing around, although some do, but like members have stated in this thread, they made an extra one for a semi-real purpose.

And honestly, I really wouldn't like GTP if we had a traffic of 15 hundred+ active members here.

They don't. They're also never deleted. They just don't take up that much DB space, so the policy is that they exist permanently.

MachOne had Evolution. The staff combined all his posts to Evolution. Then, he got banned. Don't know what that was all about, but a sign you shouldn't have more than one account?

No, he actually just changed his name (like how I changed mine from Duck Tracy to Duċk).

That, indeed, is out of our control. But users can always request an automated password reset, which will email a new pwd to the email account on file for that account... if you remember that.

I agree, for the most part. We didn't like each other, but he could be a good member at some points. I know that when he wanted to, he was a hell of a lot more contributive than me.

In the premium forum, MO posted an IM chat with MistaX, bragging that he pwned him and saying "God I rule". Then, Jondot told him to leave. MO told Jon to "Shut the hell up". Daan banned him, and now a half dozen people are offering to buy him drinks.

We didn't just ban him for that. That was 1 infraction that took him over the infractions limit, as he had gained some other infractions in the past.
