Oval car racing glitch?

[bass264]

I've been trying to race online recently on oval tracks with NASCAR cars and when the race starts I can't go above 74mph.
Mods: sorry if this has been posted already, I searched and didn't find see anything similar.

Make sure your shifting works correctly. Check the transmission too, it could be set really low. I'm not sure how low it can go though.

Glitch since 2.01.👎
Just before the race starts, when it is doing the 3,2,1, count down, you need to press start, then start again. This will clear the glitch.👍

I brought this up the day 2.01 was released.
