I think is fair to other drivers to put me at least to last position because my action caused other to lost their rightfull position in final standing.

Deep Forest: How we going to drive that 4th corner - concrete shortcut allowed or between whitelines?

I seem to have fixed my playstation myself. If anyone ever gets a black screen at startup let me know. Or youtube it like i did. Thought my hard drive might be toast but everything seems to be back to working order.

I think the concrete shortcut is the standard operating procedure at Deep Forest. We'll see what Ace says. Also I wasn't joking about being the official pace car for this series. Ive had enough of struggling with the car. It wont hurt my feeling if you don't want a pace car Ace, so be honest. Notice I said feeling. Ive only got one left. But I think I'm competent enough to handle the job without interfering with the race. It would be fun for me and it would give the field a referance point as to when and where to slow down. I would just need a pace speed for each track.

Isn't it mostly Deep Forest reverse where that is standard procedure? Don't know why you would need to short cut through the concrete, just feels wrong. ^^ There might be an argument for it being hard to police, but we are a trustful bunch aren't we?

I'm glade you got your ps3 fixed sass

Thx bowtie. Me too. Niko, Im just going off of every league ive run in for 2 years. Very difficult to police. And for me taking the concrete feels more natural. Happens to be my favorite track.

Yes the concrete section is allowed on Deep Forest. Not that I don't trust anyone here, but I think its a better idea to just allow it.

Ok no problem, I can adjust to using the concrete as well. :)

Sundays race will be postponed. My family is coming down to visit and take me out to lunch for my Birthday. So we will be racing at Deep Forest on February 3rd.

Okelidok.. Postponed it is. Maybe we will even find some time to practise ahead of the race then... nah probably not. ^^

Ok, more time to practice. Happy Birthday!

I was just popping in to say I'd make the race on Saturday, work permitting. Instead, Happy birthday Ace!!!

For anyone interested, I participated in a recent F.I.T.T. Shootout and although I didn't tune the Challenger or Camaro for the event, several others did and there are a couple of excellent road course tunes for each car over there. You'll find links to the tunes early in the thread, along with laptime results and drivers choice rankings. I'll probably be using CSL's Camaro tune on my car, but modified to fit the regs of this series.

Great with some tunes to test out. Didn't seem like the challenger tunes were among the most popular though.. but they might be good anyway. :)

Great pictures!! I'm still in far too many crashes though. ^^ Nice finish, didn't know it was so tight.

CSL's Camaro was just about perfect and Theo's Challenger only needed some LSD adjusting to get correct some inside wheelspin. It's a lot of power to get down from these heavy beasts on RH tires, on a road course...as you'll soon find out...lol.

I'll probably check the tunes out tomorrow round the time we would have been racing. Need to get a feel for that track, it's a tricky one in powerful cars.

Great pics Ace, sorry i missed the action; I appreciated the captions on the Daytona pictures. Please keep up the great work BirthdayMan! My internet is back btw.

Hey I just remembered something I was supposed to ask after the last race.

Why did the race get delayed by 1 hour and 15 minutes? didn't see any real reason for it.. everyone where there after half an hour at least so why did we wait? You probably said it in voice chat but that's barely hearable over engine sounds without a headset so I totally missed it.

I just got my wheel and everything all set up because I thought deep forest was today. Wow. I guess i do get to see Montoya win the 24. Yes!

He is looking good at the moment though...15 minutes left...

I'm not a fan, but congrats to Juan Pablo...👍

Professonals run out of fuel too in last lap :)

Yeah, but they usually only do it once...:lol::lol:

Myself, I prefer to run out of gas twice in the last couple laps...:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Not the best pits stops in the last two hours but Juan Pablo once again ran a perfect final stint. Surprised they didn't work it so Pruett was in the car for the final laps but it shows how much confidence Chip has in Juan. On a road course not an oval. Lol. Cause I think he'd take Jamie Mac if it were an oval! Now time to prove to everyone that he can win on an oval. Daytona 500 prediction - Montoya!

By the way I'm ready to run my own 24 at Daytona if anyone is interested

A) Let's dance at Daytona...now...

B) If you think the rednecks are going to let John Paul win Daytona, you are nuttier than squiller poop...

Been practising a tiny bit today but didn't go very fast so i won't post any times ^^ don't know if my set up is good or not but i'll go with it. will have to rely on my mad driving skills instead...

Oh ya happy birthday buddy
