Just got dc'd from my 3pm event...I can make it for a few minutes when you get the room open. I tried tuning this Camaro beast and I admit I know nothing about oval tuning, but the thing was pushier than my Mother-in-law and I struggled to get it to turn even with crazy settings. Has anyone figured this thing out yet?

It will be like 10 laps at a time just to get tuning right. The room will be called GTP vintage NASCAR

Room is up. Had to paint car.

Oops sorry for double post I just realized I posted right before this.

Have to head to work...maybe next time..

Hey Mich thanks for running a room in my absence. How was the racing?

We got 2-3 races of 10 laps. Best was four drivers in race. Not really racing. For me i was just trying to find my setup and did not find good one. First time driving this car - so more testing/practising...

Same. Had to leave early though... But I was just tuning. And you have to re break in car after RM right?

I did all part installing first and then break-in.

You can find basic setup from tuning forums at least for camaro. But if like to set your own driving style setup it takes some practising and testing.

basic setup probably works for me.. not aiming to win the championship really. :)

No actually you don't. I usually RM my cars before I break them in though. I was also wondering what kind of lap times you guys can get at Indy. I am in the mid to low 50s.

I ran 52.6 earlier today. Still tuning though. I feel like the turns are more important than straights.

I think I might be able to hop on for a little bit tomorrow. Just look for me online and hop in.

I think we will still do a preseason race on January 6th and then will start the season the following week. How does that work out for everyone?

I think I will be sticking with 2pm est, because that is better for me hosting wise, and I think the majority of us can make that time slot.

I don't seem to be very interested in this series anymore. Sorry guys, I'm pulling out.

I was planning on some practice tomorrow.

I'm up to practice. Tell the time and the room. I'll try to be there.
