Painting Race Modified Cars

I did a race modification to a car recently. And it became entirely white. What happens if I now paint it blue or something?

the white parts change to the specific colour, and you magically keep all the decals and stuff.

The decals are black, would they change to white if the colour was too dark?

that I do not know. You will have to try.

All RM's come in basic white when you first get them.

If you decide to paint an RM'd car, you will use up whatever paint chip you choose & vary the overall appearance (but vinyls remain largely the same). I have noticed that painting an RM'd white car in black can sometimes change the vinyls from black to white but don't assume this will happen.

You are best to take your RM, or any car for that matter, & work your way through the all the paints chips you think will look good. Whatever you do tho, don't exit GT auto as it will save the paint design & lost paint chips.

Basically go to GT auto & expermiment until you know the way you want it, then turn off your system & restart GT5. Then go to GT auto & do the paint scheme for real & save it by exiting.👍

Does anyone know if a new paint chip will alter the different-colored bars along the doors of the Audi R8? When I changed the color of my Bugatti all colors seemed to change to one but not sure because that is a standard car. Anyone know?

Welcome to the 'Planet!

The R8's sideblades will always turn to black when you paint it an after-dealer colour. Oddly enough, this seems to hold true even if you use a paint colour it otherwise comes with (say, an Audi colour from another car, since the R8 doesn't give out chips). It won't turn into a contrasting colour if you paint the car black, either.
