hey, I was just checking out your current events on your band site, I do have to ask, when you guys opened for ted nugent, did you meet The Nuge?

(i know this post doesnt belong here, sorry)

It was a three day event at Rockin' the Rivers... A modern Woodstock of sorts. I was actually sick that weekend and only stayed long enough to do our set, so unfortunately I missed him. My guitarist and Drummer was able to catch him though. And from what they said, I really didn't miss much. Ken, the guitarist, being a Tednosity fan for many, many years was greatly dissapointed and lost all respect for the Nuge. He was a total jerk to the crowd!

So yeah, he was there...., but no I didn't get to meet him. :)

;), ahh I don't think he would mind all the much, I think he was trying to be a jerk, and being really good at it. We did come up with a new CD Cover and CD Title for his next release...

Picture for a moment if you will, a deer on the road side, just hit by his vehicle, with Ted bashing it's head it with a guitar.

Now normally you'd just use a knife and cut it's throut, but all Ted would have would be is guitar. The CD title would be, "Road Kill"....

I know it's sick, but it would be fitting...:)

Very cool pako. What else have you done, and are you good.

What do you mean by, "What else have you done"? As far as additional shows?

And "Am I good"? Me personally? The band, Blue Onion? I guess either way, people have said that were good. The way I look at it is this:

I play because I enjoy doing and in the course of doing something that I love to do, some people might enjoy it and even get into it. If the crowd likes what we do, than it's a bonus. All I know is that I'm good enough to make me feel good when I play. :)

 Nice! Do you have any means for recording? I would love to do some long distance collaboration on some stuff...

Oh and, where's my manners:

Welcome to :gtp: Boxworth, and to toleman19 as well! It's good to see some freash blood around here...

:), maybe not, eh? That's cool... I know that music is a personal thing...

sorry, I was away all day, actually, I wish i could record on this beast of a computer, not now anyway, my roommate is bringing up a new computer in a couple weeks, I'll have the means to record, and edit then. this thing takes way to long to do anything of that nature. :D

It'd be cool to make a song over the internet, I did something like this on the Metallica BBS, it went quite well.

Right on, well when you get the means to do this, lets do it. :) Next, we just need to find a drummer....friggin' loops are too cheezy.

what kinda song would it be, slow and melodical, or faster, or even extremely fast riffs and solos.

and, your site says you used to be in a band called Helpless, was that a metal band named after the Diamond Head song?

What ever your the most comfortable with.....or even combinations of genra's. You could startout with a slow, melodic part then brake into some serious riffs and such. What ever, it'll be cool either way.

Actually no, we were just helpless.... ;)
