Long answer: PAL gets P001 (equivalent to NTSC F094/S) and P002 (equivalent to NTSC F688/M). NTSC gets four other F1 cars as well.

For hybriders (hybrideers? whatever) the differences are more important. PD have removed some car skins from the PAL version, so NTSC players at least have access to the hidden Porsche 996 911GT3, Lancia Stratos, Alitalia Lancia Stratos and Nomad Diablo JGTC.

All versions have access to the hidden R34 Skyline Mspec.

There are also version name differences: MX-5/Eunos/Miata, Vitz/Yaris, Cuore/Mira, Sirion/Storia.

You can't get the M-Spec unless you have an Xport/Sharkport... Really, Famine has it all spelled out in his post!

You don't really need it anyway. It's the same as the R34 Vspec, but it comes in funkier colours. Oh, and it's worth 10 million - 2.5mill to sell.

ok thanks for that i just wondered if ntsc had ne cars other than the formula 1s but it looks like it doesnt (with out using xport)

i thoughtr someone will actually count up too 999 just by typing it..wish someone did that..
