The ability to turn on the lights and have the dash light up so you can actually use it.

haha I was actually thinking about this last night, how cool would it be to have some shoebox Chevies ala 55-56-57! Not the greatest cars for circuit racing but than not many yankee cars are ;)

I would so die to have a premium '56 pilliarless Bel Air :drool:

Patch the medium and hard compound tires ( They both have the same durability as softs)

I haven't played GT5 since February because there are no Leaderboards! What a waste.

Flags would just make my day. That, in my view, would complete the game.
 
gt5 was the biggest fail ever what is the point in selling people an un-finished game which is probably years away from finishing.👎 👎 👎 👎 👎 👎
 
if u want to make it better Why don't u just try and work on the premium cars and replace the standard cars and also make some DLC such as adding bikes and 4x4's like range rover evoke Microsoft can do it so why cant Sony.

also more car customization such as vinyl stickers and body kits.

Well, yes, it was declared impossible due to memory issues in the original version. Surely they could have decreased the size of it since then?

-Sigh- They released it because the public would stop whinging and whining about it so Sony told Kaz to hurry up and finish it and get it out, he got it to a stage where it was friendly enough for people to use and sent it to the stores. Being that it wasnt finished, Kaz decided he would finish it via updates. In the meanwhile whats the point of releasing DLC into an Unfinished game?


Also, David, Id like to congratulate you on your spelling, well lack of. Good work adhering to the AUP 👍

I was looking through the news in game in GT5 last night and I noticed something interesting, update 1.09 came out on April 6th and then two months and one day later, update 1.10 came out on June 7th.. so maybe update 1.11 is just around the corner? Should this thread maybe become stickied? its fairly important.. Also to add to the list of things that should be in update 1.11, I have a suggestion, maybe there can be an option for online lobbies which can be set to allow use of the power limiter or not(kind of like its an option to allow or disallow driving aids) because I can never go into a lobby with restricted horsepower or performance points without somebody bringing in some over powered car they detuned using the power limiter, its one thing to detune by about 10-15 percent, but some people go crazy and do over 50 percent and it gets ridiculous. I was in a 450PP restricted lobby the other night and someone had a fully tuned Ferrari F430 which they detuned using the power limiter... it wasn't exactly a fair match. Its one thing to remove parts such as the Racing Air Filter and exhaust parts, but when people start abusing the power limiter(which is also completely unrealistic) it starts to get unfair and frustrating. /rant.
 
I'd like a list of all the cars in the online lobbies (as host) and pick out the ones that can be used. Of course make it go by manufacturer folders as the load time for all 1000+ cars kill some people.

It'd be a stretch I'm sure, and no doubt a step too far, but imagine the swaps that could be done, and the ones that are already out there in reality. LS1 engines in MX5's and Volvo estates - Take a look here for some more - Engineswapdepot

Essentially though, there is already 1 engineswapped car in the game, in the shape of the Weddsport Celica which apparently has a Supra engine in it. Shame it can't have RZ performance levels!

I'd love to be able to re-create Top Secret Tuning's V12 Supra!

There would have to be a "sensibility" factor for this really to go smoothly, as you would struggle to get a nascar V8 into a 500, although a bike engine wouldn't be out of the question. Hayabusa turbo Fiat 500 anyone? There's Hayabusa kits for the classic Mini and twin 'busa powered VW Lupo's.

This would be awesome!!

Like the veyron i want a light car like the supra to just fly past because i love the supra its great but not powerful

I'm hoping it's going to be more bug fixes and possibly 'setting up' GT5 to take DLC but I'm not exactly expecting much...
 
I had an interesting thought whilst running around in the +900bhp Audi Le Mans Quattro last night, even when you set the torque distribution to 10/90 there's still too much power going to the front end. It's completely messing up the handling, so why should we not be able to disengage drive to the front wheels of 4wd cars, essentially making them RWD!?
All sorts of fun to be had with that option:
  • Cure unwanted power understeering and "twitching" of 4wd cars easily.
  • Create an ultimate edition of the Audi R8 LMS using the above mentioned Le Mans Quattro.
  • Create Nissan Skyline GTS models, including a new, and exclusive to GT5, Nissan R35 GTS.
  • Perfect drift setups for rally cars.
 
my wish for the 1.11 is that it comes out soon!

whatever PD fixes/gives us is better than nothing!
 
About Photomode, I'd like:
- the game to be able to save all parameters (aspect ratio & panning are the only two that reset after leaving the viewfinder)
- to be able to use more than one Premium on PhotoTravel (without photoshopping them as I've done before) (remember the Fiat 500 press shot)
- to be able to change car from the PhotoTravel menù, without exiting, *loading*, going to the garage, *loading*, change car, *loading*, back to phototravel, wrong car goddamn
- to be able to take photos of the interiors without the glitch
- to use replay camera position to have static camera while in photomode on a track made with course maker
- more locations for PhotoTravel! Please, add the ones that appears on the main menu dynamic background (Nurburg castle ruins, Shakado pass, wind tunnel, empty warehouse, etc)... come on, they are already modeled, just add them :(
- PD to fix the cool filter
- Standard cars on PhotoTravel (ok, I get it, they sucks, but I accept the zoom limit and/or the impossibility to take 2x photos)

About the game:
- standard cockpit for standard cars?
- improve at least the sponsor on standard cars (come on, add lots of HD Logos via patch and stick them on the standard cars)
- I'd like to be able to use my garage on arcade. We can do it on the lobby online, let us export the garage like GT2! The "Favourites" tab is nonsense.
- In the lobby, the host can set time and weather as he wants...let us do this also in arcade/practice mode.
- More course maker skin.
- More tracks (even old missing tracks. I'd love that. New textures and voilà, I'm happy)
- Grand Tour was something beautiful, please expand that to all the globe. Please?
- Get rid of the stupid money cap

About replay:
- if the fastforward is too much to ask, just give us the option to choose a lap of the replay. Even if it needs a little loading time. I can't wait thirty minutes because I need to see a detail on the last lap of a race or something like this.

I think the primary focus should be on 'Bug fixes' then I don't mind what they do. However the option to fast-forward and rewind in replays would be fantastic! It was avaible for replays in GT HD, what happened for Prologue and GT5?

However there has been reports of the ability to save during an Endurance race...that would be a great addition to give GT a level of flexibility that it doesn't currently have.

My personal choice though would be; to fix the sound of the Mine's BNR34 GT-R!!!!
It was PERFECT in Prologue!!! What happened???:(:(:(
