In which of the endurance events can you pause and come back to, i thought it was all of them but i found out last night that its not as am just at level 25 and started the first endurance event
You can press start and leave it paused, but you cannot leave and come back to it, and you cannot save part way through. This does not change the further you get in the game.
Just as an added note to whom it may concern, you can't pause b-spec. So bare this in mind if your b-spec bob needs babysitting to stay in front of the opposition.

one last question is reguarding the ps3 left running for a few hrs is it safe and is it ok for the ps3 , like your not shorting its life span in anyway ?
There will be no definite answer to that question, as with any electrical product it will fail when it wants to fail. I can only say in my experience, a well looked after/well ventilated PS3 has stayed on continuously for days with no issue.
