Have you tried GT's in-game code redemption? From your home screen go all the way left to GT Store. That's where I entered my codes to get the 15th anniversary cars.

I don't know, but the people that bitch about micro transactions to bypass grinding have probably never earned a single cent themselves.

If I have to grind a game x hours to get y, but if working x hours gives me more money than the cost of y, a micro transaction saves me time and gains me money...

This is the simple logic behind offering grindable game objects for money.

So you are fine with game developers designing games that to have FN and not grind you hnei

Sorry, but that sentence is a bit incomprehensible. FN? Grind what?

I'm fine with game developers selling grindable, nonexclusive game objects for money. I'm also fine with additional downloadable content that costs you. What I'm not fine with is game developers purposely keeping content back with the sole purpose to sell at a later time for profit.

Take GT5-GT6 as an example. I'm fine with GT5 having tracks like Motegi and Spa as DLC, as well as new car packs. The developer is investing manpower in creating additional content. I would have gone haywire if for GT6 all of the previously developed content would have needed repurchase. What I gathered from FM5, where previous content has to be repurchased, is outrageous in this regard, but since I'm not a XBox owner, I never fully read up on the stories.

"Free Stuff" is a naive illusion. Nothing in this world is free.

Microtransactions have good and bad points, but when you're paying the price of the the game again just to have >1% of the in-game money needed to own everything, it's all bad. If the world keeps progressing the same way... well, I'll just play through all my old games. Let's see how developers like it when everybody stops buying their games in a decade.

I like that the guy has a valid concern and is looking for help, yet someone has the audacity to go completely off topic on an irrelevant rant about microtransactions ruining video games.

Brosefs, this aint a discussion on the morality of microtrasactions.

Indeed.

This thread is: "I am having trouble with my paid-for purchase, please help."

Not: "I would like you to criticize my purchase choice."

We have other threads for that.

Any further bickering will merit further demerits.

Thank you.

I kept editing my post before making it, left out my relevant thoughts on the OP, which were that I thought the microtransactions had been disabled. If that's the case, Sony should pay the money back. Sorry. :)

I was starting the post on a mobile phone then got occupied with more important stuff. That reply was never supposed to be made thus the cryptic stuff. But I think we agree on DLC versus paying for content we already bought over and over again but better not go further :)

Yes fair enough, sorry for going off on a rant.
I'm not singling you out its just the way i feel about microtransactions in full priced games and where it will end up if it is deemed a success and they make a lot of money from it.

Anyway, sorry for OT, hope you get your problem sorted.
